This is not the best fruitcake. So disappointed. Don’t like the cinnamon taste. Would not order again.

Very disappointed in 3lb. Fruitcake. Tastes bland, soft mushy texture since most of the fruit and nuts are on the top. Additionally, rather than candied pineapple, there is a green candied fruit which would have kept me from ordering if I read it in the ingredient description. Expected more when pay about $75.00 with shipping.Only gave it one star because the shipping and delivery was exactly as promised.

World class customer service! My grandmother had fruitcakes ordered through Goodbelly and received one tin without a lid. She was upset and called and spoke to someone in customer service. She solely wanted a lid for the tin. Not only was the bakery extremely apologetic, but they sent and entirely new fruitcake. The cake itself is incredible, not too sweet and perfectly moist. 10/10 will be using them again and again.

I ordered online through Goldbelly. I ordered one of their "World Famous" fruitcakes because The Pioneer Woman said it was the best. First, my order was lost somewhere at DFW airport. When it was finally found it was sent along to me. I understand that once they ship their product that it is out of their hands and not their responsibility, besides it was a fruitcake. So my 2 day, expensive deliver took nearly a week. When I finally received the fruitcake, it was very undercooked. It was raw and gooey inside and I don't mean a good kind of gooey. IT WAS RAW! I tried to contact Eilenberger's through their website portal. I haven't heard a peep from them. So their product is no good and their customer service stinks. Don't waste your money.

Trying to find a fruitcake as good as Costco used to sell 4 yrs ago. Eilenberger's isn't close. Lots of fruit and nuts but the cake portion is a little too moist. Mostly taste nutmeg. Uses high fructose corn syrup in recipe, not real sugar. Tiny fruitcake for the price. Edit- slicing cake was almost impossible, very sticky.

Everyone in Palestine, and the surrounding area, knows about this place. I did not until recently. What a pleasant surprise to find such a historic and delicious bakery hidden in a town with at least 50 Mexican restaurants. Will become a regular stop as I transit Anderson County.

Growing up in East Texas, I had an opportunity to visit the bakery with my parents often. It was always, clean and the staff was accommodating. Anytime we needed anything special, they were always accommodating and helpful.I wish that I now lived closer to be able to frequent them more often. Julia Hunt

I'm one of those rare people that actually like fruitcake, if it is done right. Unfortunately, Eilen Berger's Bakery in Palestine,TX does not know how to make good fruitcake. Too much candied fruit, which was in large pieces and not chopped up and not enough nuts. Very unimaginative and not very palatable. I threw 3/4 of it into the trash after serving a few slices to my guests. I would never recommend this one to anyone and suggest if you're in the market for a fruitcake, avoid this place.

It is too high. They wanted $25 shipping for one cake. They have lost my business and I am sure that they don't care.

Walked in 2 minutes before they closed and the lady there was nice enough to let me browse and tell me about the stare. I wound up buying 2 each of the thingamajigs, white chocolate, milk chocolate and dark chocolate and they were delicious. I'll be making another stop there soon.
