I gave my order at the drive thru and it was repeated back to me correctly. Upon receiving the food none of the meals had what I asked for on the side dishes . They also forgot the desert. I had to return to the restaurant and ask for it . Most of the food was just microwaved ,not fresh at all. Possibly because we ordered weekday specials . I wouldn't recommend going .

I am a big Tex mex lover, I am from Jacksonville and I grew up eating Little Mexico in Palestine. I went and read several recent reviews and it seems they’ve went completely downhill so I searched and stumbled across Mario’s. Never been but the reviews spoke for themselves. I’m 5 months pregnant so I’m a big critic. We walked in and were immediately greeted and seated no wait. Got our drinks and salsa within 3 minutes no joke. Soda was fresh and very crisp. Salsa was delicious, I decided to order a cup of their queso. It came in what seemed like a blink of an eye. It was hot and definitely some of the best queso I’ve had.. we finished the whole serving. I kept it simple and ordered enchiladas with rice and beans , my husband ordered asada fries and my son ordered their kids chicken quesadilla and rice. Everything was brought hot fresh and delicious. We will definitely be back! I don’t mind driving 30 minutes for food food, customer service was amazing as well. Our server was VERY attentive and bubbly!

We dined in on 2-23-2025 and the waitress was unprepared. She couldn’t take an order properly and brought the incorrect order. We just ate and left. We left her a small tip for her service but we won’t be returning. Staff definitely needs to listen to customers when they order and make sure that’s what they ordered. This is how you lose customers.

Lunch was great, our experience is always good. Had the lunch beef fajita burrito with the sour cream sauce. It was amazing, the rice and beans were good. It’s been a moment since we’ve been, but always a wonderful to go.

One of the best Tex Mex restaurants in Palestine tx. Although maria also has authentic taqueria style Mexican food. Food is good, there are daily specials and lunch specials. There is also a full bar if you want to stop in for happy hour.
