Some very tasty food and a unique spot in Old Town Palestine, TX.
I like the tomato basil soup, grilled cheese, with a couple fried green tomatoes.

We were surprised by the great beer selection, both tap and bottles, and the food was great - but the real star is Mia, such a nice person and a great bartender! If you are passing through, stop in!

We were in the area doing a bit of hunting and wanted to find a place to watch the Aggie game. Randomly looked this place up and found a gem. Atmosphere is great...laid back and cool setup outside with picnic tables and firepit. Lots of different beers on tap that I had never heard of that you can sample before you buy. Food was great....had the philly cheese steak and my brother in law had the Reuben. Come hungry because the portions are big. Very warm and welcoming environment where it felt like everybody was a local.

Pint and Barrel never disappoints! The food is always so good, the drinks are great, and the service is spectacular. The atmosphere is relaxing indoors and out.. great place to meet up with friends wether on a regular basis or if you haven't seen them in years. There's a variety of places to sit from tables and couches indoors to tables and benches by an open fire outdoors. Room for kids to run around, if you choose to bring them.. and there are a variety of indoor and outdoor games to play if you're so inclined. 10/10 highly recommend.

This place is definitely not known for its food. Disappointed in the food we ordered. But this is a cool place to come chill and have a craft beer with friends I guess. Food is not great. Fatty meat. Bland tasting. Eat before you go, so you can spend more for fancy beer.
