Food was good, requested a booth and got one. The manager was our waitress and seemed uninterested. 30th anniversary and just overall underwhelmed by the pace, and tone of this "fine dining" experience. Food was pricey but good quality and quantity. My plate was taken as I was eating. Most fine dining places know that both knife and fork in the plate mean it's time to clear. If you want good food it's a good choice, if you want a good experience for a special occasion - skip it.

This is definitely a gem in downtown Palestine. My wife and I both had the 8oz filet with the roasted asparagus and a baked potato, and for the appetizer, we got the Dynamite Lumpia. Everything was cooked to perfection, and in the tea, they even used tea ice cubes, so you drink doesn't get watered down. For desert, we got the Crème brûlée and the pumpkin pie. It was definitely one of the best steaks we have ever had. Our waiter was very helpful and attentive. The restaurant was clean and had a wonderful open dining area. This was our first time here, and we will definitely be back more often.

Atmosphere was great. Service was ok. The food was awful! The shrimp scampi sauce was pure lemon juice. The chicken piccata was like straight wine. The steak was a little too rare for a lot of the guest’s. Wasn’t worth the price

When we entered it was a beautiful atm osphere. Light fixtures and decor. However, I have never felt so judged bringing our kids to a restaurant as I did with this place. Our waitress was so rude, only brought our water and order once, and we never saw her again. No refills, no asking how the food was. Would not recommend her in a hospitality environment. She also said there were no high chairs, but i saw one in the corner the whole time we were there. To bring light to this situation, though, we thoroughly enjoyed our meals, hence why I'm leaving a 3/5 stars instead of 1.

Visiting from Spring TX with sister and nieces. Lunch was fabulous. Very imaginative menu. It was hard to decide. Service gracious and efficient. Then some fun shopping with Jean in her Redlands Hotel gift shop. And there’s a museum one the second floor. Will be coming back. Sue M
