Very nice place. We had lunch, chicken club sandwich and chicken Cesar salad. Both were good.

The redfish was cooked and seasoned perfectly as was the duck breast. The sides of asparagus had no seasoning at all. The sides of rices were flavorless mush with veggie bits. The bartender never offered a refill of my tea which was empty most of my meal. They were out of the desserts we wanted. The owner was friendly and the antiques scattered about are lovely.

Food was delicious. I had the spinach stuffed salmon and chocolate cake for dessert. Staff was friendly and attentive.Kid-friendliness: I have grandchildren and the owner and staff are quite friendly with them. Restaurant is somewhat fancy, but dress is very casual.

My steak had a lot of gristle but my husband enjoyed his. The mash was a little watery for my taste. The cheesecake was brilliant however. Our server was very nice.

We had the most amazing lunch today. Our wander into Palestine led us to this restaurant. We had the quail as an appetizer, Vickie had lump crab cakes with real crab. I had the chicken picatta with garlic mashed potatoes and green beans. Then Vickie had the peach and pecan cobbler while I had the blueberry bread pudding. We had a prickly pear margarita. Vickie had a Cosmopolitan and a Midnight Express drink. They were delicious. Our server, Ismael, was amazing.

My husband and I were really looking forward to trying this restaurant while we stayed at the hotel. Unfortunately it was a very disappointing experience overall. As nice as our server was, she greatly lacked professionalism by yelling through the restaurant, and the service was slow. The other server was banging around silverware behind us so it was hard to talk. My husband got the buffalo filet and he said he enjoyed it even witn it being undercooked. I got the duck and could only eat a few bights. I love duck and I know it's a fatty cut of meat. This duck was so fatty and chewy and dry that it was really hard to eat. The skin on the duck wasn't crispy. The orange marmalade/glaze was more like a broth and very soupy. It ran all over the plate and actually looked a bit like blood because of the color. It was a very disappointing dish. I'm glad we tried this place but we won't be going back.

Partner and I were invited to join our friends for New Years Eve dinner unfortunately this restaurant greatly disappointed with their food. Our filet mignon was not prepared accordingly and the vegetables came out cold, filet mignon was also cold. The Banana Fosters desert was so bland. And to top it off the table decorations looked like they had been purchased at a Dollar Tree Store. The wine served with the meal was also nasty. The only positive thing from this highly expensive dinner was our waiter Bri, who was polite and attentive. The black eye pea salad tasted like peas out of a can. I will not be returning!Parking: Well lit.

For spending almost five hundred dollars for 4 people with no Cocktails the meal was a bug disappointment. Our waitress was Brea she did a excellent job and I'm sure she was embarrassed to even serve the Dinner. The steak was good, awful salad nothing but sprinkle blackeye pea on it with no flavor and a handful of lettuce. Bread Pudding is cheap to make no flavor at allThe soup was good everything was cold when we got it. WHAT A DISAPPOINTMENT FOR NOTHING. WE MADE RESERVATIONS FROM IOWA AND HAD TO APOLOGIZE FOR THE AWFUL MEAL. THE OWNERS MUST BE RICH GOUGHING CUSTOMERS LIKE THAT. THEY HAD A HAPPY NEW YEAR FOR SURE.
