It’s Subway so they have decent sandwiches. The baked potato soup was very subpar, however the service at this location makes up for it! The staff is very friendly and welcoming.

Placed an online order. Wasn't able to cancel or call to cancel it. Called said they couldn't remake it since it was thrown away.

This subway refuses to sell advertised merchandise. It may be petty, but they refuse to sell the new advertised Happy Gilmore cups. They will only sell you a cup if you order online and not in store. I tried to purchase in store after the app refused to complete my order due to error (pos app does this often.) The point of this is principle. It's not the customer's fault you are mis managing product orders. This has always been my go to location but not anymore.

The restaurant was clean and the staff was nice but I watched 2 of the staff that were making the sandwiches and made my sandwich go to the restroom WITH their aprons on! I lost my appetite because that is nasty. That my reason for the low rating. Hygiene etiquette needs to be taught immediately.

Do not order online they do not care about their online customers me and another customer got skipped over multiple times waiting for online orders. Also don't waste money on double meat they will not put any extra.
My recent visit to Subway in Rusk, Texas, was fairly typical of the franchise. I ordered a turkey bacon guacamole footlong sandwich on Honey Oat bread. The ingredients were reasonably fresh, though I noticed that since Subway started hand-slicing their meats, they keep them behind a stainless steel shield, so you can’t actually see the meat before it goes on your sandwich.
The Honey Oat bread was acceptable but not outstanding. A notable issue is that Subway’s bread, when toasted, tends to taste more stale than genuinely toasted, which was again the case during this visit. I did appreciate the creamy sriracha sauce; however, I recommend balancing it with equal amounts of ranch dressing to mellow its intensity, and this time, they followed my request perfectly for a light application of each.
Unfortunately, the vegetables weren’t impressive—the lettuce appeared old, and the tomatoes were pale, likely greenhouse-grown and out of season. Service was straightforward and competent; the employee listened carefully and efficiently assembled my sandwich, which is really the essence of Subway’s service model.
The main concern with Subway continues to be the value. Compared to assembling a similar sandwich myself, purchasing ingredients from a local grocery store such as Brookshire’s, Subway is notably more expensive. At home, for slightly less cost, I could easily make two footlong sandwiches of comparable quality.
Ultimately, Subway provides convenience over value. Given its widespread presence and consistent mediocrity, it’s challenging to rate it beyond average. Therefore, my experience at this particular Subway location in Rusk, Texas, falls firmly into that category… average.

The food is terrible and the Manager and Assistant Manager are lazy they rather be in the back. The one time I was there. The Manager and Assistant manager were doing inventory. It doesn't take two people. The lobby had four people and plus one in drive thru. There was an online order. The Assistant manager Robert Bennett is the worst person to be Assistant manager. The best crew member was Frank Belitere. He gave excellent service
