Worst service I’ve ever experienced in this town and that says ALOT we had a new waiter which isn’t the issue the issue was she was poorly trained and it was only her second day she should still be TRAINING AND NOT ALONE she couldn’t even answer simple questions about the menu I’m sorry but that’s not her fault she’s new and clearly they need to do more training I seen a lot of red flags and walked out during chips and salsa and the tea was bad even the four year old complained about the tea
The food is very nasty and overpriced. Drinks we ordered from the bar took FOREVER! Could hardly flag down a worker to actually pay some mind to my table to even ask about the drinks. You’re better off going to El toro or Rancho Grande.
I worked at Jalapeño Tree and had no issues until a new front-of-house manager was hired. From the moment she arrived, things changed drastically. She was extremely inexperienced, and instead of supporting the staff, she started targeting me and other staff over minor uniform issues that had never been enforced before (like a tucked-in hem and slightly altered work uniform to fit better). Despite correcting everything she asked, she continued to pick at me with the support of another manager. Eventually, my hours were drastically cut without warning. When I asked why, I was lied to—first they claimed someone was out of town, then they admitted it was because I “couldn’t follow the dress code,” The manager later openly admitted that I was being cut because the FOH manager “didn’t like me”—no disciplinary warnings, no HR process, just pure favoritism and personal bias. I was cornered into a meeting they knew would upset me, recorded, and then that footage was used to make me look unstable in front of the owner. When I tried to apologize and explain my side to the owner, Paul Bramby, he was dismissive and rude right away—he told me he had “nothing to say” to me. I was left with no hours, no support, and no income, despite being an employee who genuinely wanted to work and dedicate myself to this job. i pay rent on my own at just 18 years old. This experience left me feeling used and deeply hurt. No one deserves to be treated this way—especially someone young who’s working hard to stay afloat. I have nothing else to say other than it really disappoints me that what could’ve been such a great restaurant business for our community—has absolutely no interest or care in the world for anything but YOUR MONEY, not your 16 year old daughter just trying to save up for her first car and college, not the single mother desperately trying to make as much cash as she can in one night just to feed her baby, and certainly not the elderly man that is still waiting on tables and putting all this effort just to support his wife and children.
This establishment has never failed me. Food, service and atmosphere is always 5 stars to me!! Highly recommend this place. Ps shrimp bowl is great!!

Worst service. Waitresses are rude and don’t want to do their job.
Some of the beat services possible. Food was good for the area.

Food was horrible! Stale chips (twice) finally just snacked on them anyway. Nothing was cooked correctly. I am still sick! Waiter was excellent wish I could remember his name! Ya'll got a long way to go, El Toro from now on!

Had a great meal! Service a little slow because they were busy. Why do restaurants have such high ceilings? It makes it so loud in them.

Hadn’t been in a while because when they first opened up, I didn’t really care for it. I ate there with a bunch of friends the other day and it was very very good. I’ll continue to go back regularly.

My wife loves this restaurant. However, today was a bad day. We were seated and waited 20 minutes with no service. Other people had been seated after we arrived and were already eating their food, and we haven't even got our drink order. So, we walked out. I'm very disappointed in the service.
