The carnitas platter was excellent and my gf lived the asada street tacos! Im from Houston and can say dont worry about missing out on good Mexican food in Paris.
The food was absolutely amazing, and the service was even better! Everything was delicious, and our waitress did such an amazing job taking care of us. We unfortunately didn’t catch her name, but she truly deserves recognition for how wonderful and attentive she was. We had such a great experience and will definitely be back!
Friendly staff, good food that was fresh cooked to order. I'll eat there again.

Based on the reviews, Mateo's Kitchen Authentic Mexican Restaurant offers a clean and pleasant environment with cold A/C and friendly staff. The restaurant is suitable for small parties of 4-6 people, but not for large groups. The food is generally enjoyed, with specific meals like the wet burrito, birria tacos, Mateo’s special, brisket quesadilla, burrito supreme, and nachos supreme being mentioned. The salsa can be very hot, but is considered edible by some. The sweet tea is strong but over $5 a glass, which some felt was too expensive. The queso was a little bland but good. The restaurant serves adult beverages, including great margaritas, but does not have Coors Light. The service is okay, with a sweet but not very helpful waitress. The food is described as hot, delicious, and excellent. The restaurant is kid-friendly, serves breakfast with a good variety, and is open late. Some items seem a touch overpriced, but overall it is a nice place to bring a small party and is recommended to friends.
