Captain Ceviche (Food Truck)

I had his shrimp Cerviche for the first time last week! Absolutely delicious! It was arranged so nicely also! I want his gumbo!!

Stopped in after my daughter’s basketball game tonight. We got the fried shrimp basket which was good and the shrimp size is a plus. The star of the show was the lobster roll though!!!! It was so good and they did not shy away on the lobster one bit!!! Will definitely be getting again soon!!

My girlfriend and I visited Captain Ceviche for the first time around 8:20 pm tonight, just before they closed at 9 pm. Despite the late hour and limited menu, they still had exactly what we were craving: shrimp ceviche. Sam, who assisted us, was awesome. When he learned it was our first visit, he offered samples of both the shrimp and red fish ceviche. We ended up ordering a single serving of each, and he even included an extra bag of chips—which he didn’t have to do, but it was a very nice touch.

Now, we’re excited to come back earlier to try more of the menu! I can’t wait to try their seasonal gumbo once the weather cools down. Don’t let the location inside a gas station fool you—the kitchen was very clean, the food was fresh and delicious, and the service was outstanding. Thanks again, Sam!

Kitchen very clean. Expedient friendly service. Sitting area available at gas station. Tried their shrimp ceviche. It was delicious, flavorful, and generously portioned, excellent presentation - lots of vibrant colors including the avocado. Their sandia agua fresca was impressive as well! Next time I go to a party taking a mini cooler filling it with ice and buying a small portion each of red fish and shrimp ceviche - would make great appetizers. Just add a bag of chips/ saltine crackers, adult drinks and friends!

The ceviche and aguachile were so bitter, I don’t know if it was sitting there for long or if the limes were just bitter, but it also had no flavor. The lobster is way overcooked. Too expensive for the quality/lack of flavor of the food. I don’t recommend

Absolutely fantastic experience at Captain Ceviche! Their ceviche is hands down one of the best I've had in Texas. Generous portions of shrimp and fish make each bite satisfyingly fresh and flavorful. The blend of spices and citrus in their ceviche mixture is simply delicious—I can't get enough of it! This was my third visit, and I'm officially hooked. Oh, and do yourself a favor and try their lobster roll. It's incredibly buttery with loads of lobster meat, a true indulgence that complements the ceviche perfectly. Captain Ceviche is definitely a must-visit for seafood lovers! My only wish was they had more seating area to enjoy it there.

We had Captain Ceveiche for the first time Saturday afternoon. We loved the classic ceviche, it was very refreshing and delicious flavor. The agua Fresca was incredible! We can’t wait to go back.

Amazing service for someone coming in for the first time. Helped me get something good and it was a spectacular experience!! FLAVOR AND DRINK DID NOT MISS!! HIT THE SPOT BULLEYE!!
