Authentic Cajun cooking, the real deal! Just found out today that they will shutter this location and the end of the month, lease is up and landlord wants to go up on the new lease. Hope these people relocate as the food, the service, and the people are that good! Check them out , you'll enjoy the food and the place!

I've always had a love for true Louisiana Cajun food but it's hard to find that in Texas. This place however makes the most authentic homemade comfort food I've ever had outside Louisiana. My favorite thing is the steam table old school cafeteria styled dish of the day. The pistolets are a must try and when they have them their collards greens are to die for. Boudin links are killer and even come smoked. So if you're in the area I would highly recommend this place.

I am always speechless when I come. Amazing food! If they have meat pies or a pistollete available, GET IT! They sell out quickly. I love all their sides. My favorite is the greeeeeeen beeeaaannnss! My second side is tied between the black eyed peas and the corn. If you have never been, this is what you need to do.1. Get there when they are open2. See what the special of the day is. Everyday they serve something different.3. There will be a very kind girl standing next to the menu board she isn't there to take your whole order. She is there to take orders for fried foods. Get the items I told you about.3. There are two ladies behind the the glass counter and they make your order. You can get a half order or a full. Just get the full you can save the rest for later. The Chicken fricasse, chicken with sausage sauce, or the Crawfish At tufe is amazing. (Sorry if I spelled that wrong)4. Pay and eat! Your mind will be blown I promise!
