Ernie's Cafe & Catering

I really wanted to give it a 5 but it was short by just a-little. My waitress was very friendly and prompt with her service. There were burgers and comfort food on the menu. They have daily specials which were not bad. They definitely need more seasoning on their food. The Mac n cheese needs some work. Taste was okay, the rolls were delicious. If in Pasadena stop by, I don’t think you will be disappointed.

I have to say its a great lunch spot! Ernie is amazing and is always so friendly. Got the porkchop. Blackened and it was flavored well and very juicy.

First time here, my manager took me to lunch. I had the California burger very tasty. I was surprised, wait staff was very efficient and friendly. I would definitely recommend this place.

Didn’t really like the lasagna, literally looked as if a jar of tomato sauce was poured over it. Had a little square of the pasta with little meat. My husband’s plate lunch was better than mine. Was pretty inside, service was great.

Wow, words can’t explain how Superb Ernie’s Cafe was. A customer of mine said let’s have lunch at a great place and that was definitely an understatement for sure. From the moment just stepping in and was greeted by Earnie the owner to being seated the staff was on their game. There was so many food choice’s and can accommodate for any appetite. Was recommended to try the pecan crusted chicken and was blown away. Came with two sides so went with fried okra and a side salad. Two great choices and was surprised how great the salad was and served in a cold bowl. It’s rare to find that and will definitely recommend to anyone to stop by. The fresh food, service and cost was exceptional, if I could I would give 10 stars hands down. Looking forward to coming back soon.

It was private party for Ronnie Jordan 46 year retirement from Pasadena police department. Steak was tender and chicken was moist and delicious flavor.

Great little Lunch Diner in Pasadena! Glad that I found this gem. The Big E's Burger (two 1/3 lb beef patties) was awesoms!! With HUGE Onion Rings!!! Waitress was very attentive.
