I finally tried Frank’s Grill for the first time since living in Pasadena, and stepping inside felt like a trip back in time—in the best way. It hasn’t been touched by the new era, and there’s something really comforting and welcoming about that. The food itself was decent, though not seasoned to my personal taste. They were busy and the service was still excellent. But after so many years of hearing how great it was it just didn't live up to the hype for me. It's a very homie feel which is great but the food was average in my personal opinion. Party of 6 and the bill was around $80 with tip. Parking needs improvement and not too handicap friendly.
Food has really gone down .use to get fresh homemade biscuits and gravy now it's biscuits out of a bag .Lunch the chickenfried steaks are pretty nasty now.its the frozen steak and you can deffently tell the difference in it.
