I am a former resident of Pasadena and have been going to Jimmy Changas since it first opened in Pasadena/Deer Park. I moved to Conroe and will still make the 1 hour drive just to eat at Jimmy's... I won't be doing that anymore. We arrived and were seated at about 4:08, at least that's what the ticket said. We left at 4:28 after no one came by to get our drink order... even after my friend had gone to the front to tell the hostess no one had been by. We were told that the hostess forgot to tell the server, which is not true bc the hostess spoke to the server as we were being seated and let her know we were around the corner and mentioned we couldn't sit at a bench table bc my mom has mobility issues and needed a table with pull out chairs.
Great place for a family espiecallt with small kids. Kids don't bother me but if they do you'd probably prefer to be inside, but the food was good (I got the tacos). The drinks were good as well.

Used to taste and serve better. Also, enjoyed the tuna salad which got removed from the menu.

This place somehow managed to make bad margaritas and flavorless mexican food. This is the most white washed Mexican food I have ever encountered. They even failed at the basics - salsa! Couldn’t even bring myself to bring the leftovers home. My meal of a barely seasoned fajita beef quesadilla and watery margarita ended up being $40! Nope. Never again.

After the mgr. Nick was transferred the service has slipped. Nick would visit EVERY table. We have never met the mgr. Food is still very good but that personal touch is sorely missed. We have been coming there since the doors opened...from Robert on up. We will continue to come but miss the old Jimmy's.

I forgot to take pictures of our food when it arrived, so I’ll just have to go back again ( perfect excuse lol). Our waitress didn’t seem to be having a good day. The chef put his foot in the food we cleaned our plates. The manager walked around asking different tables if everything was to our standards he was very nice. I ordered the triple threat margarita, and it was the bomb. Ordered it twice. When I go back I’ll add pictures of my meal to this review.
