It is indeed a hidden gem.I got the chilaquiles rojos with Guisado de Pollo. It had a great taste, spicy indeed. My only complaining was that it is only Chilaquiles and beans, anything extra it’s more. The Machacado was also delicious. Would have been nice if there were more sides included, as well for the tortilla to be homemade. The desserts looked delicious! We did end up getting 2 bread, it was good. Tasted like any bread at the bakery.Would definitely come back to try other stuff.

This place is a gem, not just because they make incredible pastries and coffee, which they do, coffee is very special here. But the reason they are a gem is the smile and care that they give to ever person who comes in the door. I have been coming there for a couple years and I am so glad I found the place.

First time customer. The worse Mexican food ever. Chilaquiles were as soggy as they could be , no cheese on it compared to the online photos . Barely had any beans and eggs weren’t scrambled they were made as an omelette and then ripped apart.Quesadilla meal was bland and dry. Champurrado was more of a hot chocolate. Only good thing was the bread . They also charged me a service fee for using my debit card and didn’t tell me until after I paid both checks. Overpriced & bland.

La Guadalupana is a nice little cafe tucked away in Pasadena, great food and service. We love this place!
Okay giving it five stars although I think there are a couple of things they need to work out. None of the issues are related to food. The food was really good but maybe it's me, I thought the portions were a little on the small side. In my perfect world, they would have just one more server because they seem to be shorthanded. The food did come out as expected, but to get more coffee and even the bill it was a little slow. It seemed like the chef had to do some busing of the tables. He was very nice and accommodating. The place is very clean and I would definitely go back.

Authentic food made from scratch. The best Mexican bread this side of town! Definitely coming back again.

Ordered chilaquiles and they only gave me chips with salsa, no cheese! I called and only got a “sorry about that” Also I don’t understand being that beans are so cheap why they are so stingy with serving at least on both sides of container, everything is overpriced.
