I’ve been a customer for over 10 years. My only gripe is sometimes I have to go elsewhere because the phone doesn’t ring and the voicemail box is full. It sucks because I really wanted to order and I have to go somewhere else.

I went with my mother and sister for lunch and had a very disappointing experience. We ordered several appetizers along with rolls and an assorted nigiri combo thing. The yakitori we ordered was almost inedible. It was extremely overcooked, dry, and flavorless. The nigiri plate also had several pieces that made me nauseous after eating. Overall it left us with a bad impression.

I've eaten here many times since they opened and every time the food has been solidly mid. This visit however made me realize I don't think I'll be going back.

I was really disappointed with my visit to Little Tokyo this time around. It’s gone downhill since the first time I came here.
My friend and I arrived a little before 5 PM, and it wasn’t very busy, so I expected decent service—but that wasn’t the case. We ordered appetizers, but after waiting a while, the waitress came back to tell us they were out of jalapeños, so we just moved on and ordered sushi instead. That ended up taking a long time to come out.
While waiting, I tried to use the restroom, but it was in terrible condition—dirty enough that I couldn’t even use it. I had to let an employee know so they could clean it.
When the sushi was finally ready, it had apparently been sitting out because our waitress didn’t notice it. My friend had to point it out and ask if it was ours. The food itself was just okay—nothing special. I even ate half my meal before realizing it didn’t come w/ spicy mayo, which I asked for separately.
To top it off, after we paid, the waitress dropped off the checkbooks and walked away without saying a word—no thank you, no goodbye, nothing.
Overall, the service was poor, the cleanliness was concerning, and the food didn’t make up for it. I don’t plan on coming back.

A little pricey for what you get. But he food has good flavor and there is a large selection. Even the pickiest of eaters should be able to find a tasty treat. I will say that it took quite a looonnng time to get our food- but overall- it was pretty good.

I had a craving for katsu curry. Not many places in the area to get it. It was great and scratched that itch I have had for a while! Will be back

This place was a staple for me back in Pearland, but glad its found a home in Pasadena. The food is just as great as the first time I tried it. It's good prices for reasonable portions. Definitely a get away place for date night or just meeting friends. Try the Royal Alex roll. Service is exceptional.

Okay so first off It was my first time here and let me just say that as much as I love sushi I might not ever go back again . It's way too expensive the sushi is the only thing good besides the cheese puffs and salad . The took forever to take our order and to bring it and the service was very unprofessional and sloppy. Some places hire young ppl for the appearance but don't bother to actually train them to stand out with class . It's giving 2 basic for such an expensive place and the servers get paid extremely good for it to be so unpleasant and to top it off they take they're own tip amount which was 30 off back for what ?!

Little Tokyo is hands-down my favorite restaurant. The food is always fresh and delicious, and every meal feels like it’s made with care. The staff are so friendly and welcoming that it instantly feels like home the moment you walk in. It’s cozy, comfortable, and the kind of place you never want to leave. Little Tokyo isn’t just a restaurant, it’s a place that keeps you coming back. I am now a regular!😋

I should’ve known when I saw the gigantic menu that nothing on it would be good. The menu is overwhelming and none of the things we ordered were particularly good. The fish wasn’t bad, but you could tell it wasn’t that fresh. Just a bit chewy and a little flavorless, and with a little too much smell. It was also almost 4 dollars for a single piece of sushimi. Very expensive, especially considering what you get. The service in the atmosphere weren’t bad though. All in all, I don’t think I’ll go back. My advice to them would be to cut the menu back, a lot, so that way they can reduce their inventory and focus on making fewer items at higher quality with fresher ingredients.

The spicy chirashi is to die for! So many fish options in bowl with a great, rich, but not too spicy sauce! And the rice....I don't even know what to say except that each grain was consistently cooked yet individually recognized! The rolls were stuffed full but put together well enough that they didn't fall apart. We drank Kirin and the beer was so cold and poured into a cold mug for another level delicious! If you are looking for delicious sushi 🍣 this is the place. There is no other like it from here to Austin!

This used to be my favorite sushi spot. The fish was slimy and rubbery and not fresh. My wife and I came all the way from Cypress to eat here with our daughter and we were all very disappointed. HEB has better sushi. The worst 200 bucks ever spent.
