Long and short, pun somewhat intended... Our lunch orders were tasty, but delayed (we were the ONLY patrons upon being seated and food arrived 35 min later!). My plate, after one bite not near the concern, had a long, thick black hair entwined hair within the rice and beans, I was so grossed out!! I called this to the waiter's attention (John), and he immediately stated that the chef was bald and it was not a kitchen concern. Stance, facial expression, and all clearly implied it was on me. Guess what? I have dark hair, but not long, and it is quite fine in texture. My sister has long white hair, dyed blonde, and our friend has thin brown/gray hair secured in a ponytail. I declined a repeat plate. We enjoyed the remaining food, while noting at least four kitchen/serving area transits by a young hispanic woman with flowing hair, partially clipped and with highlights. While paying our tab, I mentioned this to John, and he again argued about long hair and not a kitchen issue.. What an ARSE!!!!!! He is costing you patronage, mine included! To the curb!!

New owners... the previous owners (Robert and family) upon sale apparently desired continued employment for their crew. Pepe (cook), great call! Waiter John-- abysmal FAIL!! The food was slow to arrive, but tasty, the one forkful that I tasted upon being served (35+ minutes after ordering-- we were the ONLY patrons, initially). Lunch specials, nothing crazy... I went for a second bite (was famished!) and saw a long, thick, black hair entwined within the beans and the rice. Gross!! I immediately called the waiter, John, to rectify. He assured me that the cook is bald and could not have been the source, and strongly implied by words, stance and facial expression that I was the cause. NOT OK-- my hair is thin and dark, but not black and not long. My companions were blond and/or with brown/gray hair in a ponytail. He offered to replace that plate-- NO!!-- A) no time, and B) we all wonder what happens to "retakes". Well, he again denied any kitchen concerns. My companions and I shared the remaining (tasty) food. As we were eating, we observed more than four entries into the kitchen/serving area by a young hispanic woman with long, flowing hair, portions in a clip and with some highlights. I mentioned this to John upon paying our check. and he again restated that it could not have been a kitchen issue. I don't know what happened, but I DO KNOW it wasn't due to our table, and that John is an absolute NEGATIVE to Los Amigos' success. We have had a longstanding (think decades!!) history of Los Amigos patronage, and I always leave a 30%-plus tip, bar included, because we really cared about Robert and staff. Los Amigos was a family entertainment tradition (Victor, Carlos at one time, and Pepe). Well, thanks to JOHN, we are done. No more. What an ARSE. Owners, please respond.

Sad…. Do not expect aguas frescas or Mexican cokes, they only have flat fountain drinks, I was told they were going to change it, but never did, and still charged us $3 for each flat soda.Cumin is added to their rice so you can imagine how it taste. We asked for a kids quesadilla and 2 squares of American cheese were added.I know it’s not a Mexican restaurant, it’s a Tex-Mex, but in my humble opinion it’s not worth it.

It’s a nice place in an easy-to-get-to location. The waiter was polite, friendly and prompt with our order. We sat outside because it was a pleasant evening. A couple plants by the outdoor seating would be a welcome addition.

First time here and not real happy . They offered 3 BOGO coupons sent thru messenger after signing up. I got the coupons. Was excited to try this place out . On Nov 29 I get a message reminding me to use them . So on Dec 6 me and a friend go in and order & eat. The waiter then tell us the owner decided not to honor the coupons after Dec 1, the promotion was a hassle . No where is there any expiration on the digital coupon but ok what ever. We eat , they forgot our guacamole that came with our meal. We did ask for it and he brought it. we get the bill and we were charged for the queso we never got. They were not busy at all. Tell our waiter he’s bummed he has to void order and the split the check again . He then comes back to table to say he can’t void it cause they have no internet…. WTH . He suggested we pay it and when I come back he would remember me and give me the queso… umm No! He offered a margarita TO GO, I don’t drink. The plate I got was good , food was fresh and hot but not worth the hassel. ( it was suppose to be buy one get one ) The restaurant is small has a couple of outdoor patio tables. They do have a full bar to sit at as well. It’s a local favorite but just not sure I’ll be back.

Love the food and the customer service. They will even work with you if you want particular combos.Parking: Surrounding businesses make it a good place to take care of multiple objectives in one car ride. Get your nails done next door, get your workout on across the street, gat your meds filled on the corner then enjoy those enchiladas and amazing salsa .

I hesitated to write this, but my family has been eating here since it was at the other location probably at least 30 yrs. One of our servers has recently bought it and painted looks nice. But the service has definitely gone downhill the last few times we have been in the avocado has been mostly brown & less than a tablespoon was served. Our final visit our usual waiter stood behind the bar talking with 4 people & totally ignored us had to go to bar for drinks go to bar to ask for tab, go to bar for to go box he just stood there and looked at us from bar this is very hurtful since we have been going there longer than he's worked there. We are 40% tippers so that's not the problem. It might help if the new owner spent more time there so he can make sure his customers are taken care of. Hope things work out for you but you have lost my family & friends business. Hope to see you in Honduras Robert you are missed.

The food there is delicious! At first it was dead in there but then the rush started to come in. The waitress is polite and patient, wish they had music to have some vibe but the TVs are okay. The Trio enchiladas are delicious! Very affordable food. The red salsa there is spicy fyi, which is good.
