Everything about this place is Awesome!! The staff, the food , the Vietnamese coffee all freaking awesome. I would give 10 stars if I could. Great place go visit ASAP.

Just re did their menu and raised prices thru the roof. When breakfast costs close to 20$ then it takes the employees tip money. Add 5-10$ tip and you're looking at 25-30$. No thanks, I'll get two sausage egg and cheese mcmuffins for 5$ and call it good. Employees friendly and service pretty good. Below average for the money.

This is my 4th visit to Pelican. The food is fresh and beautiful and delicious. I will continue to come back because brunch is mine and my husband's favorite meal.

The food is great, service is horrible. I was the only Hispanic and got there before 3 other customers and the waitress got mad when I asked why the other customers got served coffee before me.

I saw this place while driving to San Jac college luckily I got out of class early to enjoy the food. Thanks to other peoples post of their food made me want to come.

Food is delicious! I had two different plates Lettuce Wrap burger and Classic Breakfast Tacos.

Been here about 3 or 4 times, last visit waitress just about ignored us until another waitress took over but every visit has felt like the waitress does not want us to be there, almost annoyed that we're even there

Quite possibly the worst ever chicken fried steak I've ever had. The gravy was very plain, no salt or pepper added. Chicken fried steak was the exact same, no flavor whatsoever. It's like they prepared it with only the base ingredients. both eggs and CFS came out somewhat cold like it had been sitting there. For context it wasn't even busy and it took about 30 minutes just for my food as I was alone. The best part of The meal was the hash browns which came out perfect and crispy. That is a very sad statement I have to make about this restaurant if the best part was my hash browns and coffee. Service was ok although I feel like they tended to the larger tables more than checking on me.

This place is usually so busy we can’t go for breakfast before church. We did that twice and had to get our food to go. This morning we arrived early to be able to enjoy our meal and then head to church. Food was not hot others were served before us. Place had a total of 8 people. The man that waited on us was a bit rude. Pointing to the menu unaware I couldn’t see it I asked if I could just tell him what I wanted he kept pointing to the menu. Ugh. He has always been the one behind the counter he needs to stay there. One napkin! I spilt on my jacket couldn’t get anyone’s attention, busy I get it but few customers less attention.

For being a small establishment it was busy. It took long to get our food. Had to ask repeatedly for refills. The pancakes were extremely dry. In my opinion, the pricing is more than what you actually get for food. The plates are oversized which makes it seem like you're getting more than what your actually served. The service was lacking as well. It honestly seemed like either a lack of staff or they were just disorganized. McDonald's and Whataburger have a better value for the food you actually get. Personally, I will not be going to this establishment again.

Quiet place and charming. Food is good and uncomplicated, ask for crispy hash browns. This place can give first watch a run for it's money. Give it a fair shot.
