Husband and I tried Salata for the first time yesterday and will definitely be back soon. The staff was very helpful and friendly, food was fresh, delicious, restaurant was clean. We love the food choices and variety, this will be on our regular visits list from on.

The guy making my food kept pouring out the ingredients so I kept having to ask for more. I've been enjoying Salata all over Texas for years, never needed to ask for extra anything until I came to this location. When it came to the dressing, he kept tilting the spoon so only 25% remained then dumped it on my vegetables. I asked for 2 portions because of that, then wanted lemon juice added. That is when Fatima stepped forward and said after 2 servings of dressing, anything else is $1. I asked why when he kept pouring out the dressing I asked for. She said that is the rule and pointed to this tiny sign under all the dressing labels. Are you that desperate for money that you have to pour out dressing to force the customer to pay for it? Plus the spinach was old and wilted with only a few pieces remaining in the container,
; he scraped the container and added what was left instead of offering me a fresh spinach portion after refilling. Not happy with the service here. I eat salads every single day and don't mind paying. This was day 2 of me ordering from here. I'll go elsewhere now. They can keep their old veggies and forced upcharge. I purchased more yesterday because the service was better. Was that $1 worth losing the $18-25 daily purchases from a customer? Looks like business is barely getting by anyway lol. Good luck, hope it was worth it!

Salata is one of my favorite spots because you get a hearty amount of food, the ingredients are not only healthy, they are fresh, and I never feel horrible for over indulging.

This location is tucked away at the end of an outlet just outside Sam Houston Parkway. The interior is very clean, and there is plenty of seating inside and outside.

The staff is generally friendly. They walk you through all the ingredients/sections to build your ideal salad or wrap.

At this location the person operating the register always asks if I have reward points. I like this because I could easily forget to scan my member number. This person takes my phone number and lets me know my point balance which is also nice.

Some tips:
Don't be scared to ask for all the ingredients you want. You can even ask for extra scoops of dressing. There are nuts, seeds, and bacon near the soup... you can put this in your salad too. I get so many components I don't feel the need to add a protein. Instead I add egg and bacon as my protein, and it doesn't cost extra. Also, ask for pita chips or bread as you're checking out. These are also complimentary. I would consider downloading their app and joining their rewards program as you can earn $5 off your next meal. Also, on your birthday you are given a $12 credit to Salata.

Cheers!!

No direction on pricing. Servers did not speak. They just waited to be told what you wanted. For first time visitors, this was very confusing for me. I saw fountain flavored teas but no other beverages. My sister told me she saw canned sodas. We did opt for water. The salads were very good but I would have loved being able to have iceberg lettuce as a choice.

I love eating here. If it’s not Salatas I won’t eat a salad. Only thing I ever complain about is how stingy they are with the toppings. You’re lucky to get 5 slices of carrots. For someone like me who is vegetarian, the toppings are an important part considering that is where the protein is.

If I order a large salad why is the container more than halfway full. The salad is already expensive, the least you can do is make it worth the money.

Food was great but the protein portion was way too small... I have been to other salatas and they serve more shrimp and chicken

I ordered via Daily Lunchdrop. The Spicy Shrimp Salad with pita chips was so good! So was the chocolate chip cookie. I didn't care for the tomato soup, but everything else was great and I will definitely order from here again.
