My husband and I stopped by Country Place Cafe after going to the gym and we were famished. A friend told us he really enjoyed the food there and he did not lead us astray. The service was amazing and our food came out so quickly. It was so tasty and well done. My husband got the chicken and waffles and I got the pancake, egg, and bacon platter. The pancakes were ridiculously fluffy and the chicken was crispy and moist. The portions were massive, but we’re obviously not complaining! We were offered their homemade mixed berry jam to accompany our meal and that was also delicious. We definitely plan on visiting this little gem again in the near future. Highly recommend this little diner!

Country Cafe 1/2 pound hamburger basket was excellent. I tried the biscuits & they were awesome. (No gravy necessary.) Everything was fresh & cooked to order. Small Cafe with BIG taste! I'll be returning to try their Shrimp & Grits next.

There’s roaches.While eating I saw atleast 4 roaches and there was one on the table.food not great even my toddler was exited seeing the pancakes but when he ate some he did not eat the rest.They were nice but the food wasn’t.

I loved the food and service! The biscuits were genuine homemade biscuits, the eggs Benedict was amazing as well, the ham was a little overcooked but didn’t greatly impact the food quality. The only downside was while I was eating I noticed a roach on the wall. It definitely affected my experience. Had that not happened it would be more stars.

WARNING: ROACHES The food is delicious, and the homemade jame is heavenly. You will feel nice and full after your meal. That is until you see MULTIPLE roaches crawling on walls and floors of the restaurant. It is wildly disgusting. I am so upset to write this because I don't normally like to criticize restaurants but this is the worst shape I've ever seen a restaurant before. I've never seen roaches crawl right under peoples feet while they eat before coming here. This is a serious problem.

This is one of my favorite hidden gems to dine. The portions are plentiful, it's cost-effective, the service is great, and the food is delicious. They don't miss! I recommend anything on the menu. The chicken & waffles is one of my go-to meals.

My family and I decided to try this place for breakfast today. When we arrived we noticed a C rating on the front window with a handwritten note next to it from the dinner owners. The note says something along the lines of that they are working to fix the issue. We felt better about the rating after seeing their note so we decide to go in. The place is small and dark but the staff was nice so we went for it and ordered our meals. After ordering food myself and my daughter went to use the restroom and this is where I noticed the roaches. As we washed our hands I saw two roaches one medium sized and one small, we had to move our feet around so they wouldn’t get in our shoes. I thought maybe they had a plumbing issue and since we already ordered I would still try the food. Once I sat at my table my husband saw a small roach crawling up the wall next to us he killed it and we all started to debate eating there at all since we hadn’t received our food order yet. As we were discussing what to do maybe 2 minutes after seeing the first small roach a larger roach crawled up on the same wall right next to us and that was our decision maker. We got up told the person that took our order we were leaving because of the roach problem and she apologized. The problem is there are good reviews here that’s why we wanted to try this restaurant but after looking deeper into the reviews it seems they have had a roach infestation for years now and are not fixing it. They are serving people with this quality of infestation knowingly and that’s not right.

The food looked good, but the roaches were on the wall, floor, etc.. they need to clean this place badly!!!!. While we were there, one couple immediately left and didn't even eat their food. Another family had roaches crawling on the wall next to them. The health department needs to be aware of this. Nevere, go back!!
