After 2 years of not eating here, this place has went completely down hill. Sure its relatively clean looking but the curtains definitely do not match the drapes. The food is below average, everything was bland. The lamb and chicken is just cooked meat made to look pretty. Dry desserts and not to mention Nats flying around the drinks. Needless to say I'm never coming back.

My wife and I (And kids) are regulars at this establishment. We don't eat out as much but we are here at least once a month usually one weekday (Monday - Thursday) when the prices are more reasonable and the day has been busy where dont get time to cook. Kids love the grilled chicken with white rice and the fact that it's buffet allows us to try things a few times etc. Overall, we have a great experience here (Food is fresh and flavorful, staff is accomodating, and cleanliness is great.

Last night (3/17/25) - our experience was a litle different. First, we arrived around 8pm after my daughters swim class. The left side of the restaurant had all the tables with signs that were reserved. No problem - i just wished the girl at the front had told us that instead of us having to go and look at that entire section before realizing).

Secondly - i guess it was a ramadan celebration so menu was completely different and the prices were higher. There were no signs indicating the change anywhere or the celebration.

My kids did not eat anything (neither did we since we dont eat red meat). The rice we ate was part of the lamb dish (without the lamb).

By 8:20pm the place was packed to the point where we couldn't even go up for seconds becuase the line just kept growing with more and more people coming in.

All we had was 1 baked chicken (per adult) and 1 baked chicken (between two toddlers) + 1 pita bread and 3 cone ice creams. We paid 63.00??? I could have went to HEB for that meal if there was some sign or communication.

I mentioned this to the staff lady and she was extremely rude.
She said "it's a celebration and the rest of the restaurant is open on this side, why should we close the restaurant".

I calmly said, first I didn't say we should close the restaurant, second, I respect the celebration as I have no issue with that at all. However, a sign informing non celebratory patrons to make an informed decision would have been beneficial. If we had known, we would have probably opted to come back another day when prices were more reasonable, the restaurant wasn't as crowded and/or the options for food were more in line with what we could eat.
She said "when did you come in"? I said around "approx. 8:00pm". She said "oh" and then proceeded to charge me and asked if i wanted a receipt.

I will say that I have seen her at the register before so I assume she's new but i was so livid that we went home and fed our kids again. Very disappointing. As you can see in my rating, i still rate the food as a 5 and the atmosphere as 5. Yesterday's experience was very disappointing and we will have to reevaluate if we will come back here just based on that experience.

My husband and I were at your restaurant for a gathering end of January. The floor was extremely slippery and greasy, and I almost fell several times. We had to literally shuffle our feet to walk. Then I later found out how our friends were treated after scheduling the gathering we attended and were forced to pay a $250 fee for using part of the restaurant for their group. Buffets were purchased for every single person in the group, and there were not even many people eating in the rest of the restaurant, so plenty of money was made that day. They were never told about this fee ahead of time, so it is disappointing to see such poor business practices exhibited, plus not keeping up with the floors. This is why I’m giving one star.

We made a reservation for a luncheon of family & friends a couple of months prior to the actual date of event. At this time charge per plate was discussed & both parties were in agreement. But 3 days prior to the occasion they railroaded us by saying that there is a change in ownership & that the charge per plate went up & that kids would now be the same price per plate as adult! We also were told that ownership had changed, but later found out that the ownership actually did not change; rather, it was their way of upcharging us.

By this time we had no way of backing out because of time constraints and Family & friends had already been informed of the meeting place. Therefore, it was impossible for us to find a different venue at the last minute. On top of increasing the price per plate, they even added a totally new bogus random charge of $250/hr which totally shocked us! This was never discussed when the reservation was made and we felt it was highway robbery.

Dimassi's Pearland now runs a VERY shady business and based on our negative experience, they're ready to scam you the quickest way they can! So hopefully this review helps prevent other people from also being victimized‼️

One of my good friends had a Baby Shower here and also their son's bday celebration. . . they were lied to by Dimassi's staff! Ever since they were "bought out" (if that's even true), business has severely gone down hill! Dimassi's forced them to pay $250/hr for their event, even though when they had booked the rez and when they had their baby shower there the first time, ABSOLUTELY NOTHING was mentioned about a fee! What kind of shoddy business does that?!

So a week out when they called to finalize the numbers, they were shocked to find out about this phantom charge that was suddenly sprung up to them! If they were actually a CARING business that cared about repeat business like my friends were, they should've immediately looked at the upcoming reservations and had the common business courtesy to NOTIFY them about this hefty charge instead of surprising them a week before the event so they'd still have ample time to seek another venue if they didn't wanna pay the $250/hr!

Lady at the front (working their event on Sunday afternoon) was also such a RUDE ASS! I overheard her several times complaining to the party MC that their band was "too loud" -- um, hello?????????? It's a freakin BAND of course they will be making music and honestly they weren't loud at all.... she's also completely full of it bec I saw her bopping her head up and down when they were playing songs and was even recording them playing!!

Great, healthy food. More middle eastern mediterranean than Greek Mediterranean. Fresh veggies, fresh hummus and falafel. Fantastic desserts. I believe everything was halal. Really good and I'll go back again soon. Fortunately there are locations all over Houston.

Self-serve food. Great selection of salads, proteins, soup & desserts. My fav is the fresh bread loaf dunked into the lentil soup. Been here many times. Bit too cold inside today; so bring a coat.

The customer service, ambiance, the atmosphere, location, and parking were all good 👍 but the flooring is highly slippery, I almost slipped twice and also saw atleast 10 to 12 customers who slipped on the floor. Highly recommend changing the flooring to anti-slip ones.

Good food, bad advertising, they advertise as lamb shank on request
They gave me one ,then I asked for a second one and they told me it was 9.95 additional
I can understand if they had a sign posted somewhere or if they explained that when you come in then it will be my choice if I want to stay

My husband & I were looking for something different while we were out running errands. Stopped in here & we were pleasantly surprised. The only “Mediterranean” food we frequent is CAVA, so we aren’t familiar with all of the common dishes. This place is a 10/10! The food is fresh & delicious! The restaurant is immaculate & the staff is courteous. We will definitely be back.
