Our server seemed a bit distracted, I understand we all have rough days and hope things get better but it did affect our service. Plates and cups weren't bussed as often how I normally see other places do. And I kept forgetting to ask for them to take them as well but I still feel they should've been making the initiative to take them. The crawfish felt mid, wasn't as spicy maybe a bit watered down, I don't remember them asking how spicy to make it but maybe that's on me as I also didn't see an option on the menu either. I did extremely appreciate the parking lot party they had when I visited, live music and supporting local artists is always welcomed!

I never received my food. Everyone else received their food. We asked several times they said it was on the way. I will not come back here again.

Food was good except the seafood gumbo taste like the roux was scorched. Service at the bar was non existent. My wife and I hadn’t been in a year, it’ll probably be another year before we return.

Disappointing. I have always loved Floyds and we usually go to the Webster location, so I don't know if the issues are location-dependent. And, we haven't been in a while, so maybe some management/kitchen staff has changed. But, this trip was very disappointing. The issue was mostly the food. First, it was barely warmer than room temperature (both of our plates). Secondly, the etouffee, which is usually fabulous, tasted like chili powder, it was spicy, but had no actual flavor. Also, the quantity was about half what it used to be except the 3 piles of rice that took up half the plate ! Lastly, I ordered half fried crawfish and my plate came out with shrimp. The waitress brought out another plate and TOOK THE SHRIMP OFF MY PLATE WITH HER HANDS ! Most places would have just left the shrimp there. I'm not opposed to them taking them since it wasn't what I wanted, but that was not the way to do it. Oh, and the crawfish were either overcooked, or the frying oil was old. I hope this helps them realize that if they've purposely made changes, we've noticed and are not impressed. If it was a bad night, we'll likely give the Webster location one more chance before we give up.

Food was only okay. The noodles on the pasta dish were mushy. The live music they had was also not great. He was drunk before he even got on stage. Our service with Amber was good though, even though it was a hectic Saturday night.

Floyd’s food is absolutely delicious. I want to start by saying that. Whether dining with my family or the very regular large corporate orders placed at work. However, no matter how good the food is when you hire staff like our waitress tonight, Amber W., you are guaranteed to lose loyal business. Nevermind the small things (leaving drinks sitting empty for extended periods, giving the wrong drinks when finally getting refills, walking off in the middle of taking the order for the table). These things can be easily overlooked as maybe just very busy. When all 3 of our temperature based entrees came out way overcooked from what we requested, we went ahead and just ate it (my husbands meal was served about 10 minutes after everyone else due to being out of his originally requested entree - again, things happen, we can overlook) as we were all ready to eat. We discreetly made Amber W. aware of all of the overcooked items at the time we paid. We were not looking to gain anything other than to pass along the info so it doesn’t happen with the next customer. No apology from Amber W. No acknowledgment period of what we told her. Again, we can overlook even though it was a little disappointing that she couldn’t even acknowledge us. Now what was beyond appalling and completely unacceptable, is when we get up to leave the restaurant and start to walk out, as we pass by another table that Amber W. was waiting on, the entire table begins to stare at us and we hear ‘Is that the ones?’ And she turns and looks at us and says ‘Yes! They’re the ones that said it’ and we hear ‘Wow! You shouldn’t even listen to them’. Now nothing that we said to Amber W. at ANY point was rude or nasty or even directed at her personally. But for her to go to another table of customers and begin talking about us is unprofessional and downright disgusting. My husband did go back in upset and spoke with a manager who did say next time to let management know about the food issue. But again, that was not a big deal - even overcooked the food tasted good still. The issue was Amber W. and her complete lack of professionalism. Unfortunately I have no interest in returning to the Pearland location so long as they have employees that behave in this manner. I will make the extra 15-20 minute drive and just go to the Webster location where I have never experienced a situation like this with the staff.

First time at Floyd’s, the Cajun food was great. We had fried crawfish tails, fried alligator, catfish. We sat at the bar, Nada the bartender was very nice, and it was entertaining watching Louis working the grill at the bar making food and cracking open oysters. He was a very nice guy. I will be a regular here for sure. That you!
