Big shoutout to the bakery crew! That’s my familias favorite side to start shopping at. They’re not familiar with the word “No”, they say, “let’s see what we can do” with a smile and then knock it out the park every time. Cakes, pies, or cookies, it doesn’t matter the request they are always on their A game.

Always our go to grocery store as they have what we need and want and the people are so friendly and helpful. Even when they are out of something they are accommodating with substitutions if they can be or apologetic even though it isn't a fault of theirs just sometimes demand outweighs supply. Great customer service! Even under construction still great. Really care about customers. Pharmacy really took care of our needs. Needed a prescription after surgery and they took care of quickly so didn't have to wait around long.

The store itself is keeping itself relatively modernized with renovations and technology, but lacks amenities other newer “plus” locations have like additional stores and retailers inside like coffeeshops for example. Also this location and the resident strip mall it’s attached to should maybe think about a permanent shuttle service to and from the Firestone and Discount Tire across the street as there are many potential customers with an hour or more of time to kill while their vehicle gets serviced.

✨My go to H-E-B! ✨This location is always stocked up in most items that I need. My closest H-E-B at Gulfgate always lacks items and carts are not the best so the drive to this one is 100% worth it. Stores around it make it the best as well, I get everything taken care of in one spot. I like that when coupons don’t apply, customer service doesn’t make it a big deal and helps me out to fix the issue

Tonight, I went to HEB with my son to buy some candy. The manager, -------, approached us in the candy section to inform us that the e-scooters were not permitted in the store despite the scooters being powered off and the helmets/safety equipment were on the handles). He cited sanitary grounds as the reason. When I reasonably asked about why shopping carts were allowed in the store, he countered that shopping carts were sanitary because the parking lot itself was sanitized at night (really !). I asked for a written or posted policy/guidance about non-store vehicles (e.g., personal motorized vehicles, wheelchairs, scooters, etc.), He reported he was unaware if there was such a policy. Despite this, he felt it warranted approaching us disrespectfully. Embarrassment of customers via abuse of uninformed authority without a reason is unacceptable.------UPDATE: Today, Manager ------ reached out to me directly via phone to apologize for approaching and admonishing us and to clarify that e-scooter use was an issue that is left to the discretion of the store. The Pearland location does not restrict the use of e-scooters, unlike the store at which he previously worked. I appreciate the apology and also the responsiveness of HEB in addressing my concern and experience.
As always, the best place to shop in Texas. I wish HEB would come to the upper panhandle

For years, HEB has been my store for all my grocery shopping because I loved their excellent customer service. However, I noticed the service quality is deteriorating fast. I never complained in the past but today I had no choice but voice my concerns... I ordered a cake for my son’s birthday and it didn’t not turn out great at the time pickup. The photo turned out green and had lines although I provided a high quality photo. The baker himself told me the photo did not turn out great due to malfunction of the machine. He called the manager to see is she could rectify the issue, however the manager made it look like that’s the best it gets and gave me other BS and I guess she expected me to agree with her. I told her I was buying the cake and that was the last time I ever order from their bakery again. It was very disappointment to me and the whole family how the cake turned out. A lesson learnt.

Fresh produce with a great variety to choose from. The bakery items are fresh and delicious. Cannot forget to mention the deli and butcher departments. Overall this location is clean, the staff is friendly, there's flowers/plants, items for a last minute gift, and the delivery times are on schedule.
