Jenny's Bakery Too!

I normally love Jenny’s , I stopped in for a sweet treat and the brownie was dry. I also got a carrot cake cupcake that was extremely hard and dry. Customer service was great though.

Communication from the beginning was great. Cakes are fairly priced. I ordered an almond white and it was a hit! The cake was exactly what I wanted. I was happy with the overall look, taste, and value of the cake.

(The minor imperfection on the cake happened due to our negligence. The cake was perfect when we received it.)

They gave me a picture off of their personal phone that they made and when I picked the cake up it was Nothing like the picture that THEY gave me.

We have gone to Jenny’s Bakery in Nassau Bay for many years when the kids were growing. Was thrilled to hear our daughter chose Jenny’s to do her wedding cake. Below is a pic of their cake with real flowers and the gear signifying how they met at JHu and were both Mechanical Engineering majors. Delicious and beautiful. Thank you for making a gorgeous cake for such a special occasion!

I cannot stress enough, best wedding cake experience ever. The coordination, process, and delivery was all truly perfect. We did a German chocolate cake with a cream cheese frosting for the wedding. We got sooo many compliments, everyone was asking what it was and couldn’t stop talking about the perfect pairing of flavors, huge success! Kwaii was so kind and professional, such a massive help and pleasure to work with. Please do yourself a favor and go with “Jenny’s Bakery Too!!” You will not regret it ☺️🥰

Zero stars! Don’t waste your money or time with this mean owner and dry as cake. The cake was $330 for a baby shower that cost almost 9k and the cake was a disaster. If we ask for an ultrasound picture and you can’t produce a legible decoration don’t do it. Then the cake was SUPER DRY! This baby shower had an attendance of almost 200 people for first time parents and Jenny’s bakery spoiled this special occasion.
Don’t waste your money!

Great customer service and we enjoyed our cupcakes we purchased. Their cookies look beautiful, however, not fresh and very dry. Hopefully, they can keep fresh products out, maybe reduce price for older items.

Fantastic cakes, cookies, cake balls, etc

We bought 3 different types of macarons (4 total) and chocolate thumbprint cookies (6 total). All were dry and lacked flavor. The chocolate on the thumbprints tasted like chocolate, so that was a plus. The cookie part was dry and didn't taste of anything. We got 2 chocolate macarons, 1 guava macaron, and 1 mango macaron. All we tasted was dry macaron and sweetness. There was no other flavor profile. The chocolate ones did have a hint of chocolate, but otherwise, tasted of just pure sugar like the others. The filling in the macarons also didn't go all the way to edge. In fact, they were maybe half the diameter of the macarons. I realize you don't want it to all spill out when someone bites into it, but everything was so dry, the filling didn't even move when we took a bite.

The prices are outrageous, too. Even in Houston, the bakeries aren't as expensive for similar bakery items. $21 for 10 baked items, basically for all cookies. (A macaron isn't a cookie, but make no mistake, they aren't some large bakery item either.)

Knowing how long ago The Cake Lady Bakery was around, and how long it's been since closing, I still long for the days of Rose's sweet confections out of Friendswood. Rose Girouard made the most delicious confections, may she rest in peace.

We won't be back to Jenny's Bakery.

The lemon bars are amazing and the customer service is great! I really like thier macarons and cake balls as well. Thier macarons come in great flavors like Oreo, fruity pebble, and guava.

Had a great experience with this bakery. I contacted several bakeries in the area with two ideas for a cake - one simple and one complicated. Both featured Capybaras. The pricing I received from other bakeries for the simple one was the pricing Jenny’s gave me for the complicated!! I ordered the cake 3 days before the day I needed it (a Saturday). It came out wonderfully and made my daughter very happy. The cake itself is delicious and moist. Will definitely order again.
