Amazing bbq right outside Houston. Meats are great and very well cooked and flavored. Very simple and basic place with self-service but you drive here for the quality of the food.

Overly priced pork ribs that had hardly any meat. More rib than meat. Inflation is one thing but a bad choice of a rack of pork ribs to cook isn't responsible. The amount of money for that was terrible. Then the baked beans were like Campbell's canned beans absolutely nothing special. In a small plastic container. So many other great places to choice for BBQ so good bye.

I’m giving this place 4 stars because the service was amazing. The brisket was OK. Their sides were also OK but there’s smoked wings were 100 out of a 10. Best item on their menu. Definitely give them a try.

I got there at 11:30. They did not have any ribs. Not that they had run out they just didn’t have any. I was pissed !

Food was great. I got the 3 meat and sides. Most sides have some type of pork in them except for like the potato salad and corn.

The pork rib is fire! The sausage was a lil undercooked for my liking but still tastes flavorful. The brisket was a little dry for my likings but I also didn’t ask for a lean/fatty preference. So idk. Nonetheless it was very smoky and I love that for a brisket. Paired with the mac and cheese, it was TOP TIER. Overall for sure would recommend. Especially for pork eaters. A bit pricey but that’s typical for bbq spots

On February 21 I ordered a beef sandwich at Hobby Airport. When I arrived home it was two slices of beef and a bun. The charge was 19.75. This is awful and shame on you. I will not recommend you to anyone. Over priced!!

Great cue! Brisket was excellent. Ribs were not exactly my speed, a little too 'candied' but an excellent execution of that style. Sides were great as well. Worth a visit.

We brothers came from all over Michigan, Minnesota, California, Colorado, Florida and Dallas Texas and our first stop was checking out what that Texas BBQ is all about. Heard alot about this place so we decided to check it out. So here's my personal review without any sauce just tasting and trying to get the flavors from the Seasoning and the smoke.

Pork Rib- looks good, nice and tender not much smoke to it though and light on the smoke rings.
Flavor wise it could of use a little bit more kind of blend.

Beef Ribs- looks good and it's huge, nice & juicy, nice smoke flavor and look to it.
Flavor wasn't too bad could've add a little more Seasoning also.

Pull Pork- looks good, juicy and tender and the it definitely have the flavor.

Sausage wasn't nothing special it's a smoke sausage.

Brisket- looks good smoked good, nice tender and juicy but again could of used more Seasoning.

Mac n cheese is good

Greens was pretty damn good I gotta say lol.

It didn't really wow me for the first time kind of like what makes them different from other BBQ joint, but i don't mind stopping by again to give it another try.

I am allergic to dextrose and the airport location did not provide any ingredients, which is very frustrating. I appreciate the woman I spoke to at the Pearland location, who asked the chefs for me, and told me that their rub does include sugar and yes, dextrose.

There’s no reason to continuing poisoning Houstonians with artificial additives like dextrose when we are trying to eat real, whole foods like brisket. For such an expensive meal, I’m surprised that Killen’s uses such low quality ingredients. It’s no wonder Houston continues to rank as the fattest city in the US.

Good BBQ spot.

Service and atmosphere:
Located in the outskirts of Houston. The restaurant is big, clean, and well organised. They offer outside seating area.
They also offer dinner service which includes slightly different menu and full table service.

Food and drinks:
Good and traditional selection of BBQ items. I chose brisket and turkey. Brisket was good but not as juicy as expected. Turkey was pretty good. I really enjoyed collard greens.
Beers and soft drinks as beverages selection.

Pricing:
$$

They have dinner service and food was great as always. It was very busy and looked like possibly short staffed so it took a bit longer to get service and finally check it but over all everyone is nice, friendly and professional.

This place made me wait 45 mins for order. Said they would text when ready. I had to back inside to check on it. Then the brisket was full of fat. I went to return the entire order. They refused to refund the sides. 12 for sides. All I wanted was a refund for my order. Wasted 2 hrs doing this. Never again
