It's my first time visiting this place and I come across a review from one of the locals that live in Houston that recommended trying this place out. I must say I am very impressed with the food

The atmosphere is always welcoming, like family. The price-to-portion ratio is crazy — me and my wife literally have to share every time because they load that plate up. We have standards, and we’re realistic, but these folks cook like their whole business depends on quality… and you can taste it in every bite.
They genuinely go out of their way to take care of their customers. DoorDash is the move — they’re not on Uber Eats, but DoorDash lets you be specific with your order, and they’re surprisingly fast and consistent.
For a New Orleans-style popup inside a gas station, they’re making a real positive impact here in Houston. The food, the service, the vibe — it all feels authentic.
Every time I leave, I tell them the same thing:
“Do me a favor fam… don’t change anything.”

The restaurant is inside a gas station which was no problem as it was clean. When I walked up there were 2 employees a man and women there both on the phone but greeted me as I got closer to the counter. I order the fish and shrimp dinner with Mac and cheese and greens. The fish and shrimp were made to order and the Mac and cheese was reheated on the stove which I appreciated because I surely don't want cold Mac and cheese. The man tastes the Mac and cheese he was warming up for me over the pot the lady was cooking in ( I didn't like that). But regardless the food was good and the fish was hot. The green were good not salty or spicy really good. You can taste the seaaon in the Mac and cheese as well. I give it a solid 8 out of 10.

I just got home, ready to enjoy a wonderful Jambalaya Pizza, only to find it burnt to a crisp on the bottom... Why would you give a customer this????

We attempted to place our first orders, but the cashier, who was alone, rudely informed us that she couldn’t take them because she was by herself.

Of course I came here bc I saw a few ppl review it on different platforms and decided to give it a try and boy I truly hate wasting my hard earned money. The customer service was ok, but the food was a no for me dawg. I should've went with my first mind and got the salmon bites or the jambalaya pizza but instead I got the blackened fish with jambalaya. The fish was rubbery and the smell was kinda strong but not like it's bad but just strong. The crawfish tails were burnt and so was the fish which is most likely why it was rubbery. And NO blackened does not mean it should be burnt! And the jambalaya tasted like it was from a box with no extra love or anything. I tend to give some places another try so I'll try it again and get something different next time🥴 and hopefully it'll be better.
