Very poor quality ingredients for the price. I ordered the Tom yum soup, the beef salad, the pork spring rolls and the pad see ew. Almost all were flavorless. The beef in the salad was very poor grade for $14. The soup had 4 button mushrooms and one thin slice of chicken for $7. I won't be ordering from here again.

Mai Thai, not to be confused with the tropical cocktail, a mai tai. This relatively new Thai restaurant with the witty name is located right around the corner from Cinemark in the space that used to house Fuddrucker's years ago. Strangely enough, they're closed on both Monday and Tuesday but I ended up checking them out for dinner on a Thursday. The decor inside is nice and exceeded my expectations. The menu features your standard Thai fare and I went with the basic yet classic pad Thai with beef. Traditionally, pad Thai consists of noodles, bean sprouts, green onions, crushed peanuts, a lime, and a protein. Mai Thai's interpretation has regular onions too. Even though the ingredient isn't listed on the menu. And we're talking a good deal of onions. This became an issue for me because I hate onions. They absolutely do add flavor to cooking but I can't stand the slimy texture. To make matters worse, they look just like noodles when sauced so it was a bit of a hassle for me to take out the onions. This is a situation where the restaurant has to do a better job of listing ingredients on their menu. In my case, I'm just not a fan of one of the ingredients. For others, it could be a food allergy which becomes a lot bigger of a deal than what I experienced. Service was friendly, though a bit slow at times. Mai Thai has the potential to become a four-star restaurant with better execution.

Ok so in all fairness I have given this place at least 10 tries and the food is really good so good in fact I have suggested to friends with the side note that the staff is absolutely so lazy and I'd you are trying to be quick don't go. With that said it's Sunday at 330 pm no one in the restaurant 4 girls working and all are on their phones. I had to get up 3 times and walk to the table they were sitting at and ask for 1. Her to take my order 2. For her to give me a refill and then finally for her to give me my entree because she had brought my husband and sons food and they were don't eating and we were waiting on my entree. Every time I had to interrupt their phone time.

We eat here often and have loved everything we have gotten. The owner is very nice and chats with us when we come in. They have a lot of choices but the Pho is our favorite!

When I say everything was finger licking good EVERYTHING WAS FINGER LICKING GOOD. & to me that's enough said about Mai Thai. Wow can't wait to explore different options on the menu. Sorry for the lack of pictures this breastfeeding mama was borderline hangry.

Had the noodle chicken noodle soup, it was ok chicken was alittle over cooked, warning if they fix you a dish it will very hard to switch meal, over look inside nice, ran out of tea at table never came to see if I needed refills. Probably be my first and last visit.

Stop here almost anytime I pass by!Food is so fresh and the best I’ve had in this genre, I love the variety available here. The owner is a great guy and cares about having great food to serve.Stop in and Say Hi, Get the egg rolls and a cold beer or glass of wineYou’ll know the rest of the food will be just as good!

Ordered cheese and garlic wings. There were only 6 little tiny pieces. 3 flats and 3 legs. They were tasty but too little for $8. I also had the green chicken curry. It wasn't very flavorful. And I had the combination fried rice (chicken, pork and shrimp) it was basic, not flavorful at all. We ate it. I probably won't be back.

Solid. Not the best, but good food, service and prices. Shared the garlic cheese wings and Tom Kha. The wings were the star! Yum. Soup was good, but a little thin. Could've used more coconut milk and lemongrass. Hubs had the sesame chicken and liked it. I had the seafood curry and they spiced it up for me! Good variety of seafood in it! Worth a stop.

Two stars because the staff seemed friendly, but didn't enjoy my food at all, didn't even finish it. Yellow curry with chicken: the potatoes were very undercooked and the sauce seemed old, more slimy than creamy. I'm also used to yellow curry being a bright yellow, it was a brownish yellow. I don't plan to return.

Excellent food! Great atmosphere! Great taste! We had the chicken spring rolls, flat noodles, and salmon ginger sauce. Everything came out very good and i have to rate this as best tasting thai food in the area. Will come back again and refer others here!

I went to have take out and order wait time the owner said 15-20 min so I waited but it took more than 40 min to get the food. He served food for the party of 3 people who came 15 min after me before me. He said all the dishes can be made spicy and not even one dish was spicy. The basil and chilli beef did not have any chilli or basil and it was just beef mixed with raw beans and cooked carrot with some sauce in it which they just added to it without even sautéing it. The spoil roll did not taste good at all.. I thought atleast the food will be good even the wait was 40 min. Wasted 40 dollars for the bad service and bad food.

I've eaten here multiple times and keep coming back for the delicious Thai food. It's so good I haven't had a chance to try the Vietnamese offerings! The owner is always so friendly and the service is incredible. I love seeing family-owned restaurants like this in Pearland.
