I have been a loyal Mikki’s customer since I was 11 years old. I recently went to the Pearland location because I was visiting someone and wanted to share the good experience and food as I’ve been doing for the West Bellfort location. We came around 7 o’clock. There was no cabbage left and all they had was greens. I ate the greens and have been having a stomach virus for the past three days. I am a very healthy person, and I have never experienced any food sickness like this before, especially from Mikki’s... I also found a white string in the collard greens. It is very disheartening that this has happened and I will no longer be coming to this location.

I walked in thinking I'm about to get some soulfood and walked into a Mexican restaurant! Somebody tell me how in the world a Mexican knows anything about soulfood? The oxtails was dry and the gravy was watery. Meatloaf was coming like potty meat. Come on now. This family establishment is going downhill. Did they sale the company to Mexicans, because that wasn't black folks cooking at all
