Not a huge fan of their tofu - wasn't very firm- but they had an excellent and WIDE variety of vegetables to choose from on the hibachi grill! Service was awesome! Will definitely return!

Was sat at a table and while grabbing my food for them to cook they sat another couple with a baby stroller at the same table and I had to move. My food then went to the wrong table of course. Ive never had service this bad. 4 servers all sitting at the table in their phones talking and laughing. I come during the week for lunch about twice a week and have never had service this bad

UPDATE: September 2025 - Nehaa was so sweet. Her service was GREAT. However, the food was TERRIBLE!!!!!!!! The rice was hard, the shrimp was hard and the broccoli was OK. Not going back with my family! Do not recommend.

My Husband and i thought we would try Mongo for the first time. We stopped in and we were seated right away. ( The restaurant had a few patrons it was 9:30 pm. ). I was excited to try a new restaurant that offered Sushi. Unfortunately after 15 mins of of waiting.. seeing plenty of staff walk by our table, but not one asked us how we were doing, or if we were ready to order. So we decided to leave and go across the street to BJ’s. Were we were also seated right away and the server was at our table with in a minute.

Simular to Gengis Grill where you put the raw food in a bowl and they cook it on a round grill. So many choices of veggies and meats and spices and sauces. Price was $18 per person and our server was so nice too.

I'd unironucally rate this 6 stars if zi could. Sushi is great quality and literally half the cost of nearby places.
They have bowls for under 10 dollars where you can add whatever meat and veggies you want. Great portion sizes, and you can double your quantity for 5 dollars extra.
I think they're saving money on staffing with the grill style cooking or something cause this place is insane value for really solid quality.

First time experience there was Amazing! Everything was A1 food and Staff also very neat and clean❤️I will definitely be back when I come visit my Sister again.
I love their bowls from the grill .It's really up to what you put in there. I got too crazy with the Cajun seasoning and suffered dearly but it was still good. I learned my lesson. We had and impromptu birthday dinner there and I was late. The friendly staff pulled up another chair for my sis and I. Thank you guys for being so understanding.

Love this place! Their sushi is one of the best I’ve tried. You get to customize your bowl and add all your favorite ingredients and you can see the cooks in motion as you go through the line. Amazing spot for a casual dinner.

Mongo is probably 1 of the better sushi places here in pearland to be honest. So far they've always been very consistent with the flavors every single time I've been there. The service is great, the drinks are always refilled, the service is fast. They also have really good hibachi the choices are plentiful. I will definitely come back again.

My sister and I enjoy coming here every Sunday for our sister Sunday lunch and every time we come the vibe is very chill and the drinks are on point . This Sunday 8/10/25 we came and our server at the bar Noah was great and he even made our drinks just like we asked for !!! He came by often to check on us making sure we were good if we needed anything . This is such a great place if u just want to relax and chill and vibe
