We received a $50 gift certificate from Moreno’s in Friendswood as a gift…. when we went to use it the waiter (Isidro) refused to honor. He said they do not honor gift cards over a year old from date of purchase. No where in the card does it say to use within one year. Never again going there…… Beware of this scam…. We ate there last Friday night arriving at 7:00 and ordered a combination quesadilla with beef chicken quesadilla and queso. The queso came out first and was flavorless and watered down. The cheese literally ran off the chips. And there were 4 pieces of meat in the quesadilla and the beans were cold. Sent back the queso. Very disappointed as we had enjoyed good meals there before.
My family and I had a wonderful dinner at Moreno’s Mexican Grill and we’re so glad we stopped by! My husband ordered the stuffed avocado and couldn’t stop raving about it, my daughter had the chicken quesadilla which she loved, and I had the camarones al mojo de ajo—absolutely delicious!
The highlight for me? Their Paloma drinks—so refreshing and perfectly made. And a special shoutout to Elizabeth, who made me a custom drink that was a 10/10—so good!
The service was excellent from start to finish. The staff was warm, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed. We’ll definitely be coming back. Highly recommend Moreno’s if you’re in the mood for great Mexican food, amazing drinks, and friendly service!

The waiter did not take order for our grandchild. She did not get her food. We had to share with her. Her food came 15 minutes later, and they still charged us for it. They are not friendly or helpful. I left my to go box on table by accident because I had my 92 year old father with me who needed help getting to the car. He moves very slow. They could have handed me my to go box. We won't be going back. Very disappointed.

Every dish I have tried here was good. The beef fajitas were by far the best I have ever had. They were lean and well cooked. The chicken fajitas were breastfeeding fully cooked and cut just right to fit in the tortillas. The tortillas were also excellent. Soft, warm, and ready when we needed them. The beans and rice were also excellent! The tacos were crispy and very tasty. The service was top-notch. We had 12 people and 3 waiters all night. Could not ask for much more than that.

The food was okay. BUT the menudo was good. I'm still holding a grudge (and another star) due to the fact that their chicken caldo (which is also good) BUT the to-go portion is SO small AND they give you NO tortillas with it! What?! How are you gonna serve to-go caldo BUT then hold back on the tortillas?!?!
Come up off of some tortillas and I'll come up off of some more stars. Deal?

The food was AMAZING. I love the taste, and it has a big party room, which I would love to use one day, Their service was really nice, although I did not get a instant refill, but I can't tell if that's a good thing or not.

That Server Veronica R is the worst waitress EVER. If you can't do your job don't expect a tip. She makes faces when you have to ask her for something or if the order is wrong. We enjoy the Food BUT her attitude towards us has gotten worse since we talked to the manager!!

The one in Pearland is good hadn't gone in a looking time because of a rude waiter and his sister but this last time the waiter was great and so was the food well to no avail went back for soup and it smelled weird inside and there were no cars we sat towards the front so couldn't tell for sure what it was WHY WOULD THEY STAY OPEN IT WAS THE RESTROOM AND THE LINGERING SMELL OF SEEER WAS BEING COVERED BY SOME SPRAY THE FOOD WAS TERRIBLE WE ALL GOT SICK 😫 SMH THIS IS SO BAD BLACK LISTED NEVER AGAINbad disgusting gave it a try worse than ever everyone got 🤢
