My wife had been wanting to eat some peruvian pollo a la brasa for while and I took her and some family members to pollo bravo. This is my only second Peruvian restaurant I’ve gone to in Houston. I do like that it’s a fusion between Mexican and Peruvian. Has its own style. All the dishes I had were incredible, including the Aguadito de pollo and el pollo Asasdo but what I think really stands aside is their unique sauces. A sweet mango sauce and a delicious green sauce. It’s basically rotisserie chicken that tastes ok. Beans taste ok. Rice tasted kind of shrimpy. Green spicy sauce tasted like salad dressing.
NO TORTILLAS!!! What???!!! I didn’t know Peruvians don’t eat tortillas with their rotisserie chicken.
I have been thinking about trying this place every time I drive through Pearland.
