We were so excited when this location was announced- it has a beautiful covered outside seating area with big ceiling fans to keep the air moving in the heat and is decorated with big tvs to watch your fav games . They also have chalk / big jenga and other activities to keep the kiddos entertained. My family and I have become regular's here - they often host events( trunk or treat's ) and competitions ( ugly sweater ) . I was skeptical of the quality of food they would have to offer when their kitchen opened but lemme tell you .. their fries are the BEST cooked in bone marrow and full of flavor perfect with a nice cold beer from the tap . Their krispy boi Pilsner is one of my personal favs - nice and light for the heat we experience. I really hope the community supports this business as it's a great addition to the Friendswood / Pearland area .

Been our “day date” spot to grab a beer once a week for a few months now. They gave this place a definite Glow Up from previous Bak Fish Brewing, offer both their own brews plus other local and TX craft brews.Haven’t done their entrees but the apps we’ve tried have been awesome. Also a pretty kid friendly atmosphere, clean floors and finally has changing tables!

I stopped by Saloon Door West for some drinks after dinner in the area on a weekday. Located where Bakfish Brewing used to be, I was excited to check them out as Pearland doesn't have a ton of options when it comes to bars. I found parking easily in their large lot. Upon walking in, you'll see that they have a nice patio but we opted to sit indoors. You order at the counter. It's a brewery so you're going to have a nice beer selection. Which is what we did. We enjoyed a couple of brews. If that's not your thing, they also have some seltzers. Standard service. It's one of the few breweries in Pearland along with Vallenson's.

Great beer and friendly service. Not the best place to watch a sports game but nice that it is not too crowded (Texans playoff game). And apparently they have one of the world's largest pretzels!

Great Burgers and good selection of Brew! Service was excellent. Seating available inside and outside.

Restrooms need attention , and the bar area should have been wiped down. Overall the variety of beer is okay.

They're food is delicious! They have a lot of good options on their menu and even have a kids menu. We had the pretzel, brisket tacos, burger, cheese quesadilla, chicken nuggets, and fries. All were great. Great beer options too.

Used to love coming to Bakfish when it was here! Decided to try it out tonight with my wife because the online food menu looked pretty good. We ordered a couple of beers, some loaded fries, chicken tenders, and fried pickles to try a few things. The loaded fries were decent, but the chicken tenders were overcooked and tasted like old fryer oil that needed to be changed, and the fried pickles were greasy and tasted like the batter wasn’t seasoned at all. In top of that, my beer tasted like it was flat and my wife didn’t enjoy hers either. We left our beers and most of the food there and left. Went to Vallenson’s on 35 instead and had a great time. Wanted to rate 1 star, but bumped it up to 2 since it was clean inside. Boring, but clean.

I came to SDW with friends after attending a Yelp event a couple of months back. Since it was a weeknight, it wasn't terribly busy. By the time we arrived, it appeared that they were out of some of their beers. I was hoping to get Crank That AC as I had that one at the original location and really enjoyed it. I went with Persnickety which I've had before. It's a citrus wheat and it's pretty good. They also rotate guest taps from other Texas breweries. If you want to order a SDW beer, look for the star next to the number on the menu board. I love that they serve food and was pleasantly surprised to see that the kitchen was open pretty late. I didn't order any food, but some of my friends had chicken tenders and fries which looked really good. They also offer items like burgers, sandwiches, tacos, and quesadillas. They just started doing happy hour M-F from 3p-5p. They're also on Door Dash! Who would have thought? I don't know if they have weekly events like trivia night, but I wouldn't be surprised if that's in the works.

Love Saloon Door West. One of the better spots in Pearland, with excellent bar eats, service , and atmosphere you can't beat? Will be back.

Service is always excellent! My dad's a local & loves this place. Plenty of brews to choose from, with half from the mother brewery Saloon Door HQ & half supporting Houston breweries. They just opened a kitchen with tasty finger foods & have fun trivia nights throughout the week. Always a good vibe here!
