Steamboat Bill’s Pearland, TX

Shrimp poboy, fried oysters on a house salad and boiled shrimp were our choices and everyone was great. Service was exceptional. Wish we could have stayed for the music!

I recently ordered takeout from Steamboat Bill’s and unfortunately my experience was disappointing. We spent about $92 total, and the food just wasn’t worth the price. The Large Captain’s Platter alone was around $35 and did not meet expectations.

Most of the food had very little flavor. The seafood didn’t really taste seasoned, and overall the meal was bland. The coleslaw was warm when it should have been cold, and even the red beans and rice had almost no taste, which was surprising because that’s usually a dish that’s hard to mess up.

Unfortunately after wanting to try this place it was a letdown.. I ordered the combination plate fish shrimp fries coleslaw and roll.. The fries were stale, the roll was hard and stale on the inside, coleslaw was hot (not even a little cold). We also ordered the large captain platter and it had the same issues. These are supposed to be fried platters and the fried items were soggy. Definitely not worth the $90 we just spent

Steamboat Bills, Amazing place to spend time with family, friends, girls or guys night out. Ms. Paige is so friendly, the manager got to meet her personally. The atmosphere is awesome and the band, music was a great mix, from tejano, r&b, and the blues . It was more than I expected. Steamboat Bills made my Birthday celebration Awesome! You don't have to dress up if you don't want. There is a dance floor ,we even did a little line dancing. I approved this restaurant!!!!!

The service was actually better this time than the last time due to how many people were in the establishment. The entertainment was really good. The food was delicious, and I actually enjoyed the drinks. They're nice and strong.
