I ordered a chocolate cake with chocolate ganache filling for my Mom’s birthday and it came out perfect! The cake was as delicious as it was beautiful so best believe there were no left overs!! It came out looking even better than my reference picture and my mother loved it. The baker definitely went above and beyond. Definitely looking forward to placing more orders in the future!

Very nice lady, I ordered a last minute order(I do not recommend doing this but thankfully she had room to make the order) since a previous baker cancelled on me and I was able to pick up same day. The cupcakes looked beautiful and tasted great! She even made a few extra on the side for my picky friend. I will be back here!

Omg!!!! This is my favorite baker. Literally EVERYTHING she makes is delicious. She has designed sweets for every party/gathering I’ve had for the past 2 yrs... I personally love her strawberry cake with both cream cheese & buttercream icing (dont judge me), all of the cookies and let me not for get the banana pudding cups! (I don’t eat banana pudding.. but I like hers) She is amazing and has the skills to bring ANYTHING you imagine to life. I constantly challenge her and she delivers EVERYTIME!!!

Honestly a 5 star review doesn’t do her justice. We ordered a gabby cat dollhouse with marble chocolate and vanilla cake with buttercream frosting and it was amazing! The cake was so perfect in every bite and everyone loved it at the party!

Wow where do I start but she understood the assignment. Each year for my birthday I get a different cake that is beautiful on the outside but when you taste it it is not good. What is a birthday without a perfect cake. I mentioned I wanted a cake that taste like a wedding cake and when I say it did omg it did. My search is over I think I found my new cake lady thank you so much for making my birthday perfect with the perfect cake keep up the good work.????

Sugar on top came through on a clutch for me for 42nd bday. I waited so last minute for preparing and ordering but sooo glad I came across this hidden jewel. This weekend my niece got married. When I went to pick up the cupcakes for her wedding I was told that they were not available and someone should’ve contacted my sister to let her know that they were on back order and that they had no cupcakes available for this time period. At that point I called my sister to let her know less than 24 hours to the wedding that we had no cupcakes for the wedding, I began calling every single grocery store and bakery in the area nobody could accommodate 200 cupcakes in that short period of time. Finally I called sugar on top and could not be more pleased with the reception that I got she was as deeply distraught as I was about the order not being filled and there are no cupcakes available for my nieces wedding, she agreed to do 200 cupcakes in less than 24 hours for us I was ecstatic that she could do it. The next morning I went to pick up the cupcakes they were beautiful! Packaged beautifully and she included such a lovely note to my niece and her new husband about how happy she was and hope the union was filled with love. It was such a professional and heartfelt experience that I am happy to recommend sugar on top to anyone in the Houston area this is a small business that is starting to grow I feel strongly about supporting small businesses and again cannot be more pleased with the way that everything turned out! People raved about the cupcakes said they were some of the best I’ve ever had they were moist, delicious, fresh and clearly clearly made with so much love involved. Again I recommend sugar on top to anyone in the Houston area For any sort of a function , birthday,wedding whatever the case may be an amazing baker with an amazing heart.
