This is a great place with delicious desert items. I had the Banana Pudding Cake and it was as expected. Fresh banana taste, cream cheese icing, vanilla wafers, etc., you know what I'm talking about! I was lazy this year and decided to buy cupcakes for our twins’ third birthday instead of making myself. SOOO glad I did! My husband went to buy a dozen and said the smell of the peach pie cupcakes baking was enough for him to wait and come back for them after they finished. He also mentioned that everyone working there were extremely helpful and nice. Awesome to buy local, too! All of the flavors were amazing and we will definitely be back!

I went there and was so amazed; their setup/samples of their desserts looks so delicious I had to control myself. I got a banana pudding cupcake and it was delicious, so, I'm planning on buying two cakes for Easter, looking forward to tasting.

I am somewhat amazed that in 2021, we are still having to educate Black Owned Businesses about the value of providing friendly and courteous service. Personally, at one time, I did feel the lady at the counter was rude, but after several visits it has been my observation that she's just dry and doesn't have much of a personality, which to me is different from being rude. However, good customer service is extremely important and can often be the difference maker as to whether a business succeeds or not. Both Chick-fil-A and Starbucks have proven models that shows us that consumers are willing to even pay more for a product , if they can have a good customer service experience; for there is nothing unique about chicken and coffee, but it's the practice of customer care and the level of appreciation that differentiates these two companies amongst their competition.Lets get this together, the aforementioned is even truer for Black people being that we are often treated badly in today's society, and the last thing we need is to be treated rudely from our own people...Many Blessings and I wish you all my very best!

Came, out of my way, to support my local small black business just to be highly disappointed and frustrated. Why? Well it is 3:07pm on a Thursday and they are not open. I mean lights off and chairs stacked on the table, as if no one has been there all day. Yet the business hours are 11am-8pm, Tuesday-Thursday. Not a sign in sight explaining that maybe they may have had some type of emergency or whatever the case may be, I don't know. But what I do know is this is unacceptable.

Went to pick up a dash the front counter lady was extremely immature, unprofessional. I asked about the order it hadn’t came through so she told me she “lady in the back” couldn’t do anything about it which surprised me because I would expect the merchant to at least have a plan for orders that are on the way through Doordash. When I walked in she initially asked me to come back in 6 min before realizing the order hadn’t arrived yet. The order came through as I was getting ready to walk out. I went out to wait 6 mins even though the FC lady didn’t specify again. Came back in 7 mins and asked was the order ready the FC lady smilrked went to the back and mockingly said is so and so order ready the dasher wants to know or something to that affect. I was thinking how immature, very unprofessional. All of sudden here comes the person she spoke to, rudely speaking telling me she has 18 minutes to make the order when all I simply asked was the order ready and a simple no would’ve worked well. She went on and so I expressed myself accordingly. It’s really a shame to run a business in this manner and my honest opinion is that neither of the ladies deserves the opportunity to run a business. Ladies do better!
If I could select zero stars, I would. I have tried to support this franchise, but they make it incredible hard with their quality of product and customer service. Had a bad experience with the Broadway location as well for not delivering on a customize order of cake balls that were under cooked and not designed as discussed for my Super Bowl party and now MOLD issues and lack of customer service at the Shadow Creek location.I ordered a half dozen of cupcakes two days ago ( Wed night) and today (Friday afternoon) there is mold on some of the cupcakes. Gave my little ones 3 to eat and pray they didn't have any mold like what is seen in these pictures. I called the establishment immediately and was told the cupcakes were made with real butter and no preservatives and cupcakes should be refrigerated. I've purchased from them many times before and have never had this issue, nor have I ever been told the cupcakes MUST be refrigerated. I bake cakes and other items regularly (from scratch) with real butter and never HAVE to refrigerated my cake or pies to keep them from molding. I was not offered a refund or anything for this MOLDED hot mess that is pictured. So disappointed with their customer service. It seems to fit right with the attitude of the lady that usually takes the orders.

Ordered a cake for a wedding this weekend. We picked up cake and drove to the venue in Galveston. When we arrived the icing had all slide off cake creating a icing donut around the cake. New wife very upset and threw it in the trash. Real dark spot on a wonderful day.

Ok. I can't say this enough. These people have EVERYTHING I NEED!!!!! Custom orders, large orders, specialty crafting, cake designs, I could go on and on.... These people are EVERYTHING!!!!! The deserts are moist and delicious. You can never go wrong with anything they serve.

When I went in yesterday to order banana pudding I asked the lady for little pudding. She then asked me how much is little; So I tell the lady the “chef” should know what’s a little pudding. She then says 1 scoop 2 3 I’m like lady I’ve never been asked this when I say a little pudding. Common sense would tell you more cookies and bananas then pudding that’s all not too complicated. Okay so after 3 minutes of what’s a little pudding she then says come back in 3 minutes. So I’m like why would I leave out come back in 3 minutes when the store is empty not a single person was in there. If you don’t want people in the store don’t have the door open. While you’re sitting here debating with me about coming back in 3 minutes my pudding could’ve been made. Needless to say I tell her to give me my money back and I don’t want nothing from them. The service is definitely horrible. People always saying support black business but when you do you get “GHETTO” customer service. I went right around the corner to the Sugar Rush on Broadway and was greeted professionally and when I said a little pudding he knew exactly what a little pudding was plus I didn’t have to come back in 3 minutes. I would never go there again and will certainly spread the word of their poor customer service.
