TL;DR: the food was good, the service was less than lackluster.

The food is always good, but nothing wowed me this time. We had the pastor quesadilla, egg & chorizo and machacado breakfast tacos. The service, horrible. I walked in and the cook and server were sitting down eating. Nobody greeted me. The person who I presume was the manager, walks up to pick up the phone, took the order not looking up once, pulls the receipt to put on the line, grabs her phone...

Service was great—they helped the best they could to fix issue but the food is just subpar. Ordered breakfast tacos and the eggs were dry, potatoes were hard, chorizo tasted too sweet. The chorizo tasted like it had ginger? Don’t think ginger belongs in chorizo? Not sure what’s going on but everything was off. They tried to fix the issues but I think it was an issue with poor quality of ingredients.

Can never go wrong with this staple restaurant. This location was great for the occasion, super late breakfast, even late for brunch but love that they serve breakfast at any time. The only mild disappointment was that the coffee wasn't hot, warm at best for 2pm. Great service.
