Went on a Saturday with a friend. We ordered a lot of of the bar menu foods which essentially consisted of fried chicken pieces, crab ragoons, which were actually very good. I think they were called money bags, peppered fish, and fried rice, which we could tell was not made fresh that day. The rice was extremely dry, and even though my friend told her server that the rice was extremely dry and she no longer wanted it They in no way shape or form acknowledged it or even offer her any sort of substitute. It was just as if they did not care and were just OK with the fact that she complained and returned basically her whole meal. We were told that the pepper fish was baked, however, it looked like fried fish. My steamed rice was OK and I also had the fried calamari which was decent as well. The service was subpar when dealing with the rice and then when it was time to pay we did separate checks, I decided to pay with a gift card, and the waiter literally picked my gift card up, looked at it and said “this probably is not going to work.” Even though the gift card had a MasterCard logo. Of course the payment did work, but he did not apologize or acknowledge his rude and unnecessary statement. Out of all of the Thai restaurants that I have visited this is one I would not return to.
I stumbled up on this place by accident. Oh My Goodness, I’m glad I did! I will definitely be back. The drinks are work every dime (Get The Lychee Martini) and the whole fried fish with the tamarind sauce was ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS. The staff was friendly and I cannot wait to come back. 10/10 I HIGHLY RECOMMEND
Pearland community !!!!! Do not waste your money on this place. Thaicoon Restaurant & pub. Very rarely. I am writing a review on my restaurant experience unless is urgent. ever since Thai spice close down I never went for Thai food near for quite a bit time, but today I have decided to try this place out because of the height review on Pearland eats… oh my gosh, what a disappointment this food made me sick. My daughter order Pattye, your plate was full of noodles, smothered with a sauce and show leather shrimp. I think it was like four of them. I was thinking why they put so much notice on the plate? Quality is better than quantity in my opinion. I order Tom Yum soup, the broth from the Tom Yum soup, tasted like old fish from the freezer that been there for six months. it made me so sick, I came home drink plenty of water in order to kill that after taste in my mouth.
The waiter said is the fish paste, but I know exactly how the fish paste taste like!! Anyway 60 bucks for a few dishes just went in the trash. (Exept fried calamari )If you guys have any good recommendations for Thai restaurant, please let me know. But this place, unfortunately such a gross food and wasting money , what a disappointment!!! waiter stuff was very friendly, hundred percent I would not come back.
Amazing place! I loved the playlist and food was fantastic!!! The serves very happy and gentle. We will back more times for sure. I’m gluten free and almost everything on the menu is vegan and gluten free. You can add the protein you prefer.
Excellent food, service and prices.
I was definitely excited for a new Thai place in Pearland but Thaicoon has proven it’s not worth anymore visits. I have gone a handful of times and the service and food was mediocre from the start and has only declined. Presentation is 50/50, and flavor is quite minimal. I would have their lunch specials but the portions and flavor got so inconsistent even bland/limey that it wasn’t worth the price anymore. I have had peers work at both locations so I would still recommend to others to support and suggested for happy hour with coworkers. Drinks were horrible and way too pricey for no alcohol taste(many left unfinished), wait time was long, and our one poor server handling a table of 12 despite other available servers hiding in the back area talking. My final straw was a family outing and came in for bite since it was close. We ordered multiple dishes, including the Crying Tiger which was advertised as a thick cut of filet mignon. We were served a bed of thinly, dry sliced beef and when brought to the attention of the server, they attempted to argue it was the same in the picture and right meat. We reconfirmed it was not but it was clear they weren’t budging not gonna refund a sad excuse of a dish. I provided photos below for reference, and I will let you be the judge. To make matters worse, when the kitchen and female management asked the server what was wrong, he reiterated we were complaining and being picky bout the meat in Vietnamese which WE UNDERSTOOD. This type of service is unreconcilable and hope changes are made promptly before they lose more customers.
Food, drinks, and service was excellent. Good happy hour prices.
Best food and ambience . Good cocktails too
Ordered the Green Curry and Millionaire Scallops and they were the BEST Thai dishes I’ve ever had! Drove 1 hour eat here worth every minute! Will definitely be coming back! Would recommend to anyone in the area!

Their pricing is without meat. For every protein you add, they will add dollars. For soda it's 4 dollars each. Sprite was tasting carbonated sugary tap warer. I think its expensive. For 2 adult and 1 kid spend 78 dollars. The yellow curry we ordered, the potatoes were undercooked. The plate of noodles was smelling fish. Not sure if they washed it good after serving fish.

I've been wanting to try this place out but just never had the opportunity. I ordered pick up to bring back to the office & the food was still hot when I got back. The food was ready for me to pick up on time when I got there. The food was delicious. They have a good vegetarian selection if you just feel like going vegetarian for lunch. The tofu & basil dish was very tasty, it was a lot too! I also ordered the tom yum soup with tofu & some fish cakes on the side. Everything was yummy. I'll have to come again & possibly dine in next time to dry some of their other dishes.

As soon as I walked in, there was plenty of space, so I was seated right away. The staff were incredibly kind and welcoming, which made for a great first impression.
The atmosphere was clean and inviting, and I felt comfortable throughout my visit. They also have a bar, so you can enjoy a drink at any time of the day.
I thoroughly enjoyed all the dishes, with the curry being a standout. The lunch portions were generous, though I do tend to prefer a lot of rice with my curry. Extra rice is available for $3, which I guess it's understandable.
The Thaicoon rolls were made fresh to order, arriving piping hot with perfectly crispy wonton skin and a savory filling. Both the beef and chicken were incredibly tender, and the curry had an amazing depth of flavor. Even the rice was perfectly cooked, complementing the dish beautifully.

Got shrimp red curry with a 5 spice level and the pork rolls. There was heat but no spice for a level 5 it felt more like a 2. Pork rolls didn’t taste like anything and the curry was eh. It gave more tomato bisque than red curry. Didn’t finish it.
