The Dolly Llama

Definitely a premium dessert option in Pearland. Both the signature bubble waffle cone and liege bowl were made fresh. The horchata ice cream is delicious! Service was quick considering it's made to order. Atmosphere was clean but might be a bit cramped with a crowd inside.

My favorite place in pearland for ice cream! The texture is perfect, not too soft and not too thick. The flavor is amazing and not too sweet either. The interior of the store is blue and cute. Bonus: they have a giant connect four for families and friends to play while enjoying dessert. I always recommend this place to others.

This ice cream shop called The Dolly Llama was a new experience for me. One of the employees tells me that the Dolly dream ice cream is the most popular item to order when I ask what to purchase. It is the most wonderful ice cream and waffle I have ever had. Trust me, this is the best thing I have ever had. Excellent location for ice cream overall.

There are only two vegan options for ice cream: a chocolate choice and a vanilla choice. There isn't a large selection of ice cream for the non-vegan options. However, the bubble waffle was very soft and it was delicious with Nutella, strawberries, and bananas.

Although the ice cream and waffles are delicious the wait was astonishing. We walked in (party of 4) and there were 2 people ahead of us who already ordered. There were 3 employees. It took over a half hour (~35min) for us to get 2 ice cream cups and 2 ice cream waffles. I don’t think the ice cream is so good that with only a total of 6 customers the wait is worth it. The atmosphere is cute and trendy but VERY small. It was raining outside so we couldn’t wait outside.

This is my first time here, I went in with a lot of expectations. The place wasn’t kept at its best condition, I mean a little more attention could have been made towards keeping the seating area clean. I ordered the dolly waffle and absolutely loved the taste of it, however it was almost impossible to cut through the waffles and scoop out ice cream with the forks and knifes that were provided. They weren’t sturdy or able to cut through the waffle well enough. After a lot of effort I was able to eat it. My husband had the waffle with a scoop of salted caramel ice cream, he had a similar experience, to mine.

Over all you’ve got taste and flavour. But if you improve the quality of your utensils, it will be helpful for the customers.

I’m not sure why there are so many reviews complaining about so many trivial things. My husband and I were looking for an ice cream shop still open at 10:30pm and this was the only one I could find. We were a little hesitant because we had never heard of it, but I’m so glad we stopped! So many options and it was so so good. The lovely young lady at the drive through window was so sweet and very helpful. My husband asked for the manager, not the complain, but to tell them how well we were treated and how delicious it is. We will DEFINITELY be coming here often. Plus a drive thru ice cream shop! Amazing.

We love the convenience of the drive through ice cream and the option to go inside as well. Matcha with strawberries is my favorite! Dolly llama also offers outside seating. There are clean restrooms inside. They have adorable merchandise along with many toppings to choose from!

When we first got there, there was one other group of a few people. We ordered and sat down. Many other people came in and got their food but we were left with none. We waited for over 45 minutes before we got our food. Before that, however, we had to ask what our order progress was like, only for them to say “we forgot about you.” The room was small and dirty. We went to the bathroom and the towels were out as well. We ordered 3 waffles and they were smaller than the palm of my hand. Crazy expensive for that small. They were also not fresh and were reheated!!??? Like come on..

Cute concept! I ordered the waffle with bananas and chocolate but they ran out of bananas so I had them sub for strawberries. It was delicious. Hopefully next time they will have bananas but if not then I'll sub them out.
