Chef is New York trained veteran. My gf and I have now been 4 times recently. We have eaten sushi everywhere in Houston, New York and California. Yellowtail is some of the best we have ever had. This place is a Gem, the staff are extremely kind and the service has been impeccable every visit. The Lychee tea is absolutely fantastic. The nigiri here is top notch, also the pork jowl yakitori is a must. We have eaten at MF, Uchi, Ume, Tins... Yellow tail is just as good if not better. We are super lucky to have this place in Pearland. We can't wait to go back and do the Omakase. If more people knew about this place, this place would stay packed and you would need reservations days or weeks ahead of time. Right now it is just a Pearland Gem and our favorite restaurant in Houston.

This is the best sushi spot in Pearland. Way better than Nishiki. Their maki has so much meat. I loved the yellowtail maki. The sea bream nigiri was delicious. I also recommend the ramen and green milk tea. Already itching to come back!
Update: went back a second time and it was just as yummy. The amberjack nigiri was exquisite and rivaled the quality and taste of other high end sushi restaurants in town.

Hidden gem! I was passing through the area and wanted some crispy rice and saw the great reviews this place had. I stopped in and ordered the tuna crispy rice and the salmon and yellowtail nigiri. All super delicious. The quality of the salmon and yellowtail was amazing, super tender and comparable to that of higher end restaurants. I will definitely be back if Iām in the area!

This place is amazing! By far the best quality sushi in Pearland, maybe even Houston (including Uchi!). Sam, the sushi chef, is nice and knowledgeable, if you get lucky snag a seat at the sushi table. Ps. Ask for the real wasabi!

A little about meā¦ I love sushi. A lot. I have tried most all of the high end sushi restaurants in the Houston area and have also visited Japan a couple of times and eaten sushi and numerous places there.
This is my MOST FAVORITE sushi restaurant IN THE WORLD.
Sam, the chef, is an absolute master.
My recommendation: Go here. Sit at the bar. Let Sam make you some Nigiri. Insist on having the hamachi toro, masu, hotate & wagyu. I meanā¦ just take a look at the wagyu in the picture!
Itāll be the best culinary decision youāve made in a long time.

The best nigiri sushi in Pearland. I had two sets of the 9 piece nigiri set. Yummy. If you donāt like wasabi, do let them know bc some of the nigiriās have wasabi.
My dad and I visited this restaurant for the first time, and from the moment we walked in, we were greeted by the warmest, most welcoming lady. She took our order with a smile, and the rest is history. The food was incredible, safe to say Iāve found my new go-to spot for dinner!

Customer service was exceptional! Very throughly explained the menu as well as the different sushi rolls that we ordered. Everything tasted so fresh, your rolls are made infront of you so you are able to see everything being prepared.

But, I truly believe if you havenāt tried this place you NEED to make the drive over here and meet the awesome Sam and his amazing wife/crew. Sam says he, ānever serves food he wouldnāt eat..ā himself and I believe it! Everything on his menu is amazing. You canāt go wrong ordering anything!

I came today for lunch.. arrived 15 minutes before opening and they still serve me.. thank you so much.. I ordered the brisket ramen and takoyaki ... It was soo good I forgot to take pictures... great service even better food!!
