Great food and in great company!
I just returned from another country and I was craving some local cuisine. My daughter just wanted bacon. Looked for something nearby and found this hidden gem. Paul the owner talked to my daughter and me. I learned that he has been here in Pflugerville for over 20 years. This place served up kindness, hospitality, and literally the best rice and beans I've ever had. I felt like I was having lunch with a new friend rather than at a restaraunt. Next time I'm coming back for the bar b q. Thank you Amigos!

Good Veteran owned restaurant, Tasty food and great customer service.
Go to spot for breakfast tacos. We come on lunch break with 4 or more guys from the shop and we make it back to work on time no problem.
The best thing they have on there menu is there short beef ribs they to die for a must try 😋

If you're looking for great BBQ, look elsewhere. This place is more of a political statement than a restaurant. The decor feels like a campaign rally, and the food is bland at best. Dry pulled pork, brisket without smokiness, and generic bottled sauces lack the care and depth BBQ should have. The service didn’t help, either; staff seemed more focused on pushing opinions than on making diners feel welcome. In short, this spot leans on gimmicks over flavor. Save your appetite for a place that actually respects BBQ—and its customers.

I used to really love coming to get my breakfast tacos, but today, got 2 potato egg and cheese tacos. I paid over $8 for them which is already a little high, but they are typically very good so I caved. I found that there were barely any eggs in there, and sooo many potatoes, honestly, too many..All potato and cheese. I took it back to apartment and scrambled an egg to put in there. I’m a laid back person, and I don’t mind sometimes having to make do, but come on, it’s breakfast! I wanted the protein before my work shift. Also, the political signs are very pushy and to have it right up front and in our faces is not very warm or welcoming to customers, no matter the party. I’ve decided to take business elsewhere for a while. Doesn’t mean I will not ever go there again, but my money and time can be spent elsewhere for now.

I didn’t get past the large political sign on the front of the counter. I’ll spend my money somewhere else.
Had a great company team lunch. Owner provide his best service to us. Great Tex-Mex barbecue style lunch ever.

Wonderful place for Saturday morning breakfast. I typically go with the biscuits and gravy. My wife prefers the migas. Weekday lunch specials have always been great.
