We hadn't been to Bari's in a few years but went tonight. The food and service were good but the issue came with the bill. The menu prices are not the same as what was charged through the register. We noticed the two kids meals were charged as adult meals and they were adjusted but when we notice the appetizer was charged at $13.45 instead of the $8.99 menu price, the manager was very rude and said they hadn't had time to make updates and refused to issue a refund. Worst pasta place I ever been. I order the Chicken Murphy to go (in the menu said pink sauce) I got home and my order was wrong.
Pasta with an oily sauce, no color at all.
When I called, after they passed me from person to another, they asked for a receipt that they never gave me. Their only solution was refund me $1.5 cent because they forgot to put the sauce. Ridiculous!
My family has been going to Baris since it opened in 1997 when we lived in Pflugerville. My youngest son turned 21 and requested Baris for his birthday last night. We haven't been for a few years as we moved about 30 minutes away. It was so much fun visiting an old fave. Food quality is amazing, the menu hasn't changed and we were delighted to see the daughter that was bussing tables as a kid is now running the restaurant. Such a local gem. The food didn't take too long to come out, making for a memorable dining experience that keeps customers coming back.
