I went here Saturday evening around 10:30, me and my husband we love smoking Shisha(hookah)and came across this spot. First thing we had no reservation but was able to sit at a table. Our waitress was attentive at first but forgot to check in as the night progressed. We ordered shisha that felt was very overpriced around $50 paid apart from the drinks.
Secondly we ordered four drinks and our tab was around 65 dollars. My husband ordered a beer, I had a vodka soda, which came in a small glass. Then we ordered two incredible hulk shots. First we were told they couldn’t make it, then I told them theirs only two ingredients, hypnotic and Hennessy . Which then we were charged for a whole drink which was $24 .
Our tab was around $80 when the manager pulled up our tab I didn’t see the receipt just the total I was caught off guard by the price if I’m being honest . I called the next day to understand the bill and there is a 15% gratuity added on each tab regardless of how many people are in your party. And they also charged me for each liquor in my Incredible Hulk shot 🤦♀️ I figured this because they didn’t know what it was. (
This place felt very misleading. I have no problem tipping when the service is great however taking a tip before we are being served is crazy to me. Also if you don’t know how to make a shot and charge me for a whole drink that’s probably the most expensive one on the menu is weird. All in all. The food smelled nice, shisha is overpriced, drinks are overpriced except beer. Wish I had more of a transparent experience.
I keep giving this place a chance after chance the food is okay but for the price the serving sizes need to be better , I will never order a hookah from there again first time I got one I was sick for about 2 weeks after doesn’t seem Like they clean them correctly , and they drinks are very watered down and the waitresses are rude all of them

I always try to support black owned businesses but for me its the little details that can make or break a place. First off food is delicious. Got the fish and waffles. Went on a Saturday wasn't busy at all. When i walked in wasnt greeted ar all. Second sat down at bar an still wasn't greeted. Food is good just wasn't feeling the service.
