There are many restaurants near this high school, but none more tolerant and consistent. Their products are always fresh and delicious. I have lived here since 2001 in the same place. This is by far the best fried chicken for 10 square miles.

I had trouble ordering a large order on DoorDash and on the Golden Chick web app, so I went in to this location to see if I could get it ordered and out the door before everyone at the party got too hungry. The store was a lot nicer inside than I remember for a Golden Chick. The staff were very nice and got a supervisor out to help me. Not only did he have no issues with the large order, he even showed me a way to get the same food for less and threw in a gallon of sweet tea and a fountain drink for me while I waited. The total wait couldn't have been more than 10 minutes. I was out the door and back to the party at about the same time it would have taken to DoorDash it and for less than half the money. I can't speak more highly of this location and the people working there. 5 stars all day.

The food at the Pflugerville Golden Chick on Pecan Street is always outstanding! The chicken is bursting with flavor, crunchy on the outside and tender on the inside. But, what makes it better is the staff, who are always friendly and ready to help.

I've totally forgotten about this little gem! Got 2 chicken sandwiches and they were fresh, flaky and perfect. The battered fries were crispy. What more could you ask for! Be back soon

The guy who is always taking orders is very welcoming. He must be the manage or something, but he's very humble and kind from what little interactions I've had with him over the years. I'll anyways come back. Food is always good fresh and hot. They do forget my croutons for my salad most times though.

I rarely leave reviews, and very rarely would I leave a negative review on a business. I felt the need to do so this time because this place has gone down hill and it’s sad to see because I used to love their food having grown up here. The bottom of my bag of food was completely drenched with gravy, I was not given any forks or spoons, I was missing a side after asking the lady at the window twice for my correct order (I guess I should have checked and verified). They were too occupied giggling and chatting in the back to complete orders in a somewhat timely manner. I was also given the wrong sized drink but just wanted to leave with what I had at that point, this place has good food almost always, or at least it did in the past. Stinks to say that in my opinion, theres many other chicken restaurants that do it better than this Golden Chick location.

Good Food. everything we ordered was fresh and still warm. Good customer service too. A little language barrier with a latina cashier, but all is good, she tried her best.
Food wasn't a fresh as expected. Not day old either but you could tell it had sat for a bit. I didluke that napkins and seasoning was behind the counter. For each, I had to stand in line to request them. Staff was friendly.
The cashier almost shorted me 5.00 from my change.
