I’m new to Austin & was actually warned Chinese here is terrible compared to back home (I’m from PA - close to New York City). This place had the highest reviews and I even saw one NY resident claim it’s just as good as back home. That sold me.
I ordered sweet and sour chicken with fried rice & Rangoons. The fried rice had absolutely no flavor. Most Chinese places put egg or pieces of pork in the fried rice - they do not. The chicken also was incredibly bland. Crab Rangoon was “eh”. My wonton soup came in like the smallest container that barely fit one wonton on it and tasted absolutely disgusting. Why does this place have such good reviews? Please do not order from here.

I’ve visited this restaurant on two occasions. I received their menu in the mail initially and I grabbed another one on my second visit. The first visit I ordered the chicken fried rice it was not the best I’ve had and my second visit I ordered the Mongolian chicken it was very flavorful. My only other issue is each time I view the takeout menu, the prices have gone up. They haven’t been open very long and the menu prices have changed on both of my visits.

I can't say anything about service and atmosphere, because my girlfriend picked it up, but the food itself was pretty terrible.
Side of fried rice was literally just white rice with a little bit of soy sauce on them.
Hot and sour soup was full of corn starch and terribly thick
Cashew chicken tasted like fish for some reason and was topped with super soft, burnt, dry cashews.
Orange chicken would lose it's bite after two chews in your mouth.
There is no reason I'd ever consider going back.

The sesame chicken was hard and dry. The lo mein noodles were ok, though they didn't have the wok hei flavor, just plain sauce, so kinda meh, but ok. The Pad thai was good, decent amount of shrimp. Only thing was it was plenty spicy, so make changes accordingly. I saw the chili on the menu but never had pad thai offered at other restaurans that was spicy without special request, I assume it was going to have some spiciness to it but not that much. The Thai tea was was soooo watered down it didn't taste like tea or milk. It was a five dollar cup of colored water. I do not recommend it. Overall, not a great experience.

I've tried their food a few times via takeout, so I can't speak to the in-person service, but everything has been great so far. They definitely use better-quality ingredients compared to standard Chinese restaurants. I've been sticking to the lunch specials—the Kung Pao Chicken was excellent, and the China Town Stir Fry was also quite good. I did add some hot oil to both dishes to amp up the spice, which worked well for me. The Hot and Sour Soup and Egg Drop Soup were spot on too. I'll definitely continue exploring the rest of the menu.

I thought it was great quality chicken but the quantity isn’t as much as I thought it’d be, especially for dinner portion and price

We tried this for the first time, and everything was great! First, I noticed the place was very clean and newly remodeled. We had excellent service and enjoyed the food. Mongolian Beef was my favorite.

Adjacent to the Wells Branch HEB, this is a hidden gem. Impeccable service. Food ingredients are 3 times better than any I have had around here. Also cooked to perfection. Furnishings are better than usual, and they didn't skimp on the air conditioning. They restaurant looks and smells clean. Very inexpensive.
