Pretty good lunch. With my family and I being from a border town, it can sometimes be hard to find decent mexican food as opposed to the typical tex-mex. We kept it simple with just a choriqueso app, the avocado & jalapeño salad that's pictured, and a few Mexican beers, of course. Service is always good and the staff is friendly whenever we go.
Recently moved to the area from San Marcos and LOVE this little hole in the wall. The service is excellent, and even if we don't speak Spanish and the servers English isn't great, we just pull out Google translate to help. The servers are always friendly and the food is spectacular. Perfect for our tastes. The salsa is outstanding! Especially the green. We try to buy it by the cup so we have some at home with our leftovers. The serving sizes are HUGE.
Absolutely amazing, 1000% wonderful and worth every penny. Melissa is a GEM. Love her.
Honestly love it so much that I feel beef with some girl who posted 8 months ago who complained about the person not speaking enough English. Hate her on principle.
