Off the bat it looks nice inside and out ,but it's all build your own like chipotle grill, but I do like the freshness of the greens , ultimately what stopped me from giving it 5 stars was the tofu , feel like it could've been seasoned more or at least marinaded, to at least give it some type of flavor.

We've ordered from this restaurant through GrubHub several times a month. The quality was starting to concern us several months ago. We ordered chicken vermicelli a couple days ago and that will be the last order we will be placing. Not sure what meat was, but it did not look or taste like chicken. It gave us both indigestion, the craps, and horrendous gas. Giving them 3-stars. Hope they improve, but doubt that we'll be back.

Food has gone downhill from many yrs ago. I ordered vermicelli today and the noodle was hard like it was old noodles from previous days. The cucumber is sour. Last month the chicken was so dry like old old food. Obviously you're serving food from previous days. ?

To echo the experience of many others: Takeout order wasn't started until after I arrived, despite no other customers. Food that was supposed to be hot was lukewarm and just not tasty, probably given it's just been sitting out/in warmers for hours.

One of my fav Vietnamese restaurants to go to in Austin. I can't believe I never reviewed them before. Their specialty is Banh Mi sandwichs and vermicelli bowls. I think what makes them special is that they are always consistent in their quality, and they have a nice variety of sauces that are not Vietnamese. I have not been in the area for a while, so it's great to know the food still tastes great. I actually tried a different item from their menu, the Viet Taco. Oh man, it was messy but delicious bc he piled the toppings on. I got the pork taco and it did not disappoint. You taste the freshness of the ingredients along with the Viet flavors encompassed by a buttery chewy tortilla, man it hit the spot for me. Bc it was so packed, I thought the tortilla was gonna break on me but it didn't. The customer service is great, and the prices are decent, I highly recommend giving this place a try.

A great experience every time. We come in for lunch once in a blue moon but my family and I always say that we have yet to get a bad meal from here. The food is always fresh and never heavy. We always leave feeling satisfied and usually with leftovers which is a bonus!

I have eaten at Moi occasionally since they opened. Today was the last time I will do that. I went with my wife for some lunch and we had to call into the kitchen for someone to come out and take our order. After ordering and receiving our food, we noticed that the soda machine was beyond disgusting. The ice dispenser was dripping water and there was visible black mold growing on the dispenser, all over sides, and under the machine. I looks like it hasn't been cleaned in months if at all. Luckily we asked for bottled water. The tables were kind of sticky and all in need of a wipe down. Also the fan over the counter area was covered in greasy dust and right over the register where we are handed the food. We ate a couple bites of the food before deciding that we couldn't trust that the kitchen wasn't just as gross as the dining area and left without eating any more. It's truly a shame. We liked the food we gotten from them in the past. But clearly the staff does not care anymore. Save yourself from potential food poisoning and do not eat here.

I would say that this place to a Vietnamese Subway (the sandwich shop). The service and everything is great. The bahn mi was so so. Nothing gross about it. Just not a great bahn mi. I think they are most known for their tacos.

I was visiting the area and found this unique Vietnamese eatery. First, you get to choose from sandwiches or rice bowls and then you select the toppings you want including the proteins you want on them. For my meal I chose the banh mi with the beef. I added carrots, cucumbers, fried onions, and cilantro. They have a few sauces you can also add, but decided on the spicy mayo sauce. This reminds me a lot like Chipotle where you select the toppings. The place itself had some seating and a drink refill station. The bread was not made the way I like it a soft and flaky baguette bread but it was edible. My kids had ordered the rice bowl and they said tasted fine but nothing spectacular. Overall, you have to try this yourself and judge whether its good or not. Its definitively a different take on the traditional Vietnamese dishes.

I placed an order at 5 pm so I can picked it up at 7 pm after work . The website says they close at 8 . I drive to their business after work expecting to pick up my order for me and my family and it turns out they close at 6 . They could have called me to tell me before they closed so I don't make a wasted trip there and can arrange for dinner plans elsewhere but they did not notify me. I tried to call them several times over the next day to dispute the charge but they do not pick up .. this is horrible business practice and would never consider going here again

I am a sucker for Vietnamese food, particularly grilled pork and vermicelli, so I had to check out Moi for lunch. I was expecting a normal sit-down joint, but Moi is actually a counter-service, 'build your own' model like Chipotle or Chilantro. There were several people in front of me when I arrived, and that led to a longer wait in line than I expected. There is only one person manning the whole shop, so the time in line can drag a bit. The bun / grilled pork bowl was pretty decent, but it fell short of some of the other Vietnamese restaurants in the area. The pork was pretty bland, and the variety of toppings wasn't great (no bean sprouts, for example). The value was just ok, as the bowl was priced similarly to "sit-down / made to order' restaurants. I enjoyed lunch and Moi and would visit again, but it did not knock my socks off.

This place is filthy. Floors, tables, even inside the chef base under the grill where they keep the shrimp and the grill were nasty looking and they looked like they haven't been cleaned in a long while. Just looking at it turned my stomach. When I came in the location was empty and the lady was sitting in a chair behind the counter on her phone. She should be cleaning. This place is going to make someone sick, literally. So, customers ask them to see the shrimp so that you can see what I'm talking about how dirty those containers are that the shrimp is actually sitting in.
