I've had BBQ all over Texas. This was definitely one of the worst experiences. The brisket was very dry and chewy, with not much BBQ flavor. It was much closer to roast beef than it was to brisket. Also, they only accept cash, and they have an onsite ATM. So they coerce you into getting money from an ATM which charges you a fee to withdrawal cash. I would not recommend this place even if you happened to be right next door. You will get much better food at Rudy's.
Edited to say they DO give you a lot of food for the price, especially with their breakfast tacos.

Stumbled upon this spot and I'm glad I did. Service was good and it was some of the best BBQ I've ever eaten. The chicken and brisket were tender and juicy. Also enjoyed the sides.

I was really craving BBQ and Red’s BBQ in Pflugerville was the first spot that popped up. It’s a small food truck set in a charming backyard-style setting with outdoor seating and a laid-back vibe, definitely a unique and cozy atmosphere you don’t find often.
We ordered a pulled pork sandwich and a three-meat plate with sausage, brisket, and pork ribs. For sides, we went with the creamed corn and BBQ beans.
Pulled pork: Melt in your mouth texture with a nice hint of smokiness. I would’ve loved a bit more seasoning to bring out the flavor.
Sausage: Tasted like a standard sausage, not smoked or particularly unique. It was fine, but nothing memorable.
Brisket: Fatty and juicy, which I personally enjoy (though some people prefer lean). Unfortunately, it lacked flavor and could’ve used more salt or rub to elevate it.
Pork ribs: These looked juicy at first glance, but turned out dry and bland — probably the biggest letdown of the meal.
The sides were the highlights of our order. Overall the quality of the meat seems good, they just need to be more generous with seasoning across the board.
Would I come back? Possibly, for the vibe and maybe to give other items a try.

I got the four meats plate with brisket and carnitas as well pork ribs and chicken, then the sides green beans also cream corn.
The service was amazing, and the guy was cool down to earth as my buddy and I placed our orders separately as I explored the smokers and just looked around for a second. Total cost 48 something, once I got home I tried the bbq sauce as it was tasting to me a sweet maybe mesquite flavor with a tangy mix but the texture was like apple sauce.
I tried all the meats before the sauce, and without the sauce, the brisket wasn't holding much flavors or anything smokey tasting, which made me think it's something I could get at the store type quality because the meat wasn't truly tender or moist and even the fat couldn't save it, with the sauce it made it worse
Then, the chicken itself was tender and seemed juicy but had no flavor what so ever as all the seasoning was on the outside, and nothing really got into the meat to help the chicken taste better, adding the sauce was just strange flavor mix because it wasn't greasy to need the sauce to cut into the greasy to give it balance. The pork ribs were good but seemed basic as the seasoning wasn't going deeper in the meat, and it was tender also no real smokey flavor as maybe it was cooked in the oven then grilled to give it grill marks is what I was thinking from each bite.
The Carnitas had decent flavor from the seasoning, but I could locate the main flavors in the grease, and as it was tender with a few chews, it took to eat, but pieces that had little to none of the grease from the meat it self was just flavorless and just lacked.
It is a hidden spot that people have to truly look for if you blink you, miss it, and type of place as well with all the bbq places around the city this isn't a place I'd return to.

I've wanted to try this place for some time and I'm so glad I did today. My family and I enjoyed our delicious lunch. These folks have great customer service skills and took care of us immediately. Our food was fresh and hot and tasted better than a lot of other over priced and congested bbq restaurants in the area. We left completely satisfied and blown away with our experience. Thank you so much! We will definitely be returning.
