It's good. Highly recommend the jalapeño & cheese kolaches. Service is quick & to the point. No-nonsense ladies running the show, it's good stuff. Usually stop here for a quick bite and I'm never disappointed. Chocolate milk & 2 kolaches is the go-to order and it's cheap, filling, and great.
If you want to go to this shipleys don't go to because it is out of business. But other shipleys are open and amazing. My favorite it the the glazed chocolate filled perfect amount of glaze and a little too much chocolate filling.
I am from Houston and my Mom and Grandma always took me to shipleys as a kid. When I moved to Pflugerville and saw there is one down the street from where I live, I was so thrilled!!
I come here often to keep the tradition going with my daughter and, every single time I go, the workers have big attitudes and seem so bothered. It makes me sad because it takes out of the fun experience I grew up, and because I treat them with such kindness!
