Ordered on DoorDash they showed up 50 minutes late and the mochi was melted the food honestly was blah. It taste like Midwest old people Campbell’s soup sushi I had no flavor. I ordered two separate rolls and basically they were identical just a different charge. I feel robbed. I feel like I wasted my money on plain white rice and cucumber, which is so cheap spent $84 total
will never order food from here again don’t waste your time.

Awful. We went last night for my wife’s birthday. Terrible terrible terrible service. Not a single smile from the waiter. Rushed to order drinks. Rushed to order food. Rushed to eat food. Rushed to pay. Rushed to kick us out. That on top of the food being way overpriced for being mid. Wish I wouldn’t even have tipped. Never again.

To Whom It May Concern,

I am writing to file a formal complaint about an extremely unprofessional and unacceptable experience I had at Shogun. On my recent visit, I received undercooked shrimp and dry, hard rice. My ticket number was #122.

When I returned to address the issue, the individual who identified himself as the manager (and claimed he was also the owner) handled the situation very poorly. I explained the food quality concerns, and he immediately asked why I didn’t call the previous night. The restaurant closes at 11 PM, and I was there around 10 PM, but when I attempted to call, the phone line repeatedly said “busy.”

Instead of offering any help or professionalism, he became rude, disrespectful, and verbally aggressive. He cussed at me and even threatened to call the police, which makes no sense because requesting properly cooked food or a resolution is not a crime under any penal code.

At this point, all I am asking for is the correct owner’s contact information, as the manager’s behavior was inappropriate, unprofessional, and completely unacceptable for customer service.

I expect a response and appropriate follow-up regarding this matter.

Honestly a really good place and the chefs are talented people who take the craft seriously. The food is also great. Fun for the whole family, but I'd recommend for 13+. Overall good place.

This place has gone down hill over the last couple of years. It used to be good, but now the sushi is just plain bad and they cover it with a ton of sauce to try and hide the real flavor. Service and atmosphere were cool, but the food sucks!

Amazing sushi! Nicest staff! Our family gets the shaggy dog, omg roll, dragon roll, and California roll. This is our favorite place we come here all the time!❤️❤️👌😊

As we stopped by, we were apprehensive at first to try out a new sushi place - can be risky - but it turned out to be a great surprise!
Duygu and Jo are amazing to talk to and the staff is well chosen, friendly, polite, professional and always helpful and attentive.
The sushis were fresh and the fried calamari was such a positive surprise, taking the time to make for high quality, texture and taste.

I would recommend a few things but definitely try the fried calamari! It is unlike any other place.
