Went at open was greeted with a very warm welcome by the owner 😁 and got some cupcakes (chocolate, carrot and strawberry) peach cobbler and a slice of cheese cake and my goodness everything was amazing I tried the chocolate and carrot cupcake as well as some of the cobbler and im in love 😭❤️ cant wait to got back 😎

I’ve been in Austin nearly 3 years. Consistently searching for a black owned bakery and Suga’s doesn’t miss at all.

I ordered a Red Velvet Cake for a birthday and it disappeared. I also order peanut butter cookies and they are easily the best in Austin. They put Crumbl or anyone else to shame.

Patricia is a great owner and even provided instruction on cake preservation (it didn’t last that long).

I’ve hyped it up so much my Dad in SC has request to bring him cookies.

Ordered a chocolate cake for my love’s birthday party this past weekend. It was possibly the best chocolate cake I have ever had! We got so many compliments on it during the party. Patricia was professional, kind, and you can tell that she bakes with love. Suga’s Bakery will have some new customers because of it. That cake was simply, heavenly. Thank you! ☺️

I first tried a cake from Suga’s earlier this year during a friend’s birthday celebration (Southern red velvet), and another birthday celebration a few months later(heavenly Italian cream). It was so good that I knew I’d surprise my partner for his birthday with round 3!

From a seamless ordering system, to supporting my last minute cake change, Suga’s Cakery worked with me every step of the way to ensure my partner received the best birthday carrot cake ever! They went above and beyond to incorporate all his favorite colors and I felt included every step of the way. Already submitting my second cake order for a good friend’s birthday at the end of the month.

Once you go to Suga’s Cakery, you won’t want to go anywhere else!

Welcomed in with a big smile and welcome, felt very welcoming. Offered a free sample while I browsed.

Sample of banana pudding was very good and fresh.
Got the chocolate cupcake, snicker doodle(massive size), and chocolate chip cookie(massive size).

Chocolate cupcake: moist, and still fluffy, excellent chocolate icing that was creamy. Done very well and would happily eat again.

Chocolate chip cookie: solid choice, basic and satisfying

Snickerdoodle: soft and flavorful. Sprinkled with cinnamon and sugar. Very good flavor, gives that little something extra.

Been meaning to try this place and so happy I did! Cute little bakery with the friendliest people and tastiest treats. Bought a little of everything! Will definitely go back and use for my special orders. Must try!

We were not sure if they were going to have cupcakes or something we could take home that was not a full cake.

They do, the staff was super friendly. Everything looked so good that we left with one of all of the cupcakes that they had. The cookies looked amazing and we had a sample of peach cobbler and banana pudding that almost made me leave with them as well but figured 7 cupcakes for 2 people was enough :)

I get home and realized I should have taken two of each cupcakes. We are having a hard time splitting them to try them all.

Yeah, we will be back.

6/5 stars for above and beyond service and cakery-joy. Ordered 12 keto cupcakes to take to an event with a crew of Keto loving friends. It is so hard to find these local gems, and Suga Cakery delivered.

I’ll be honest, they didn’t all make it home. I had to taste test, and yummed all the way. Thank you for bringing some joy into the day (always bring what you can eat and support others on their journey!) Food is love and love your food!

I visited my friends bakery today as I was craving her delicious strawberry and chocolate cupcakes. To my surprise she offered me some Rum cake. You guys if you haven't tried it, it's a must. It now has me in a chokehold. All of her treats are delicious so head on by and thank me later.
