We picked up dinner and so glad we did. The fried catfish sandwich was made just right. My family also had chicken wings, tenders and fries. Everything was good and we will be back! Growing up on Springdale, I love the connection to my childhood. Glad to have TaterQue in our community.

Overall, the food was excellent. We ordered the buffalo wings, mac & cheese, a kids’ meal, a side of cornbread, and the Big Jack. Everything tasted fresh and flavorful. Definitely one of the best wing spots I’ve been to in a while!
The only downside was the music volume, which was a bit loud for our preference (especially since my husband is hard of hearing). Additionally, we were surprised to see a $2 charge for small water cups. The receipt listed it as a “kids fountain drink,” which felt unusual since most restaurants typically offer tap water at no cost.
Despite that, the food quality and overall experience were great. I’d definitely return the next time I’m in Pflugerville, though I’ll be sure to hydrate before heading in! 😄

If i could give 0 stars i would. The northbridge shelter in austin , where i am staying, ordered catering for our dinner today. And the vegtables and potatoes were spoiled. They smelled like a week old sweaty sock and tasted like it smelled. Good thing i warned the staff. And hopefully that avoids food poisoning. The chicken breast was cooked throughly though. But the sides were spoiled.
Odd thing is, that the catering menu did not match what we recieved. Our scheduled menu said TaterQue:italian chicken, mixed vegtables and potatoes. But none of that is on the catering menu nor resturaunt menu. So i guess they have a special menu for homeless shelters? Cause the veggies were a canned veggie medley and not fresh. Only thing that was fresh, was the braised chicken breast.

This is very unfortunate because I left a review on here a little over a week ago, and my review was taken down by them. I am so disappointed in this business because I try to support black-owned businesses and instead of being responded to or someone reaching out to me, they decided to take my comment down. So make sure you guys check your food because I got food poisoning from their chicken that they failed to clean and make sure that the feathers were taken off the chicken before serving it to me. I was sick for about four days and I’m still recovering from the illness of the food that they serve to me on the day that I was there and dined in with some friends. I Don’t ever leave reviews on anything because I believe in people being able to rectify the Situation. However, this was not the case.I will not be coming back to this restaurant, especially since my review was taken down to cover the fact that this situation happened. This lets me know that this isn’t the first of its kind … It’s so unfortunate that I never got an apology or anything of that To reconcile the situation only to come back and see that my review was taken down. I will not be coming back and I will no longer support this business.

I did pluck them off, but I’m not sure the chicken was properly cleaned. A couple days later, I got food poisoning from the chicken. Just make sure you check your food before you eat it.
